Whats the hype with this guy. People talk about him like if he's one of the most avoided fighters. They can't say he hasn't fought any one. He defeated James Toney. I saw the it was completely one sided for Browne.
He KO'd Chagaev, that holds a hell of a lot more weight with me than beating up an old James Toney, who he mercifully pulled his punches with because he respected him so much.
He ko'd Chagaev, even Wlad didn't hurt him like that, nor Povetkin.. He has power and is patient.. Far more dangerous than his crude style shows...
When is he fighting next? I heard he was offered to fight Whyte before Helenius got the call but for whatever reason he didn't take it. I reckon he would KO Whyte.
Toney is a defensive genius never being stopped in almost 100 fights, so Browne not being able to isn't that bad he did win every round
He wanted more notice and the pay was a bit light.. IF AJ v Parker goes ahead next year I could see Browne v Whyte on the undercard... I don;t think Whyte has the pop to stop Browne but he certainly has enough to stop Whyte..
Pretty much, if he'd have pressed the issue in the last 2 or 3 rounds he could have easily forced a corner stoppage or the ref would have stepped in, you can tell Browne eases off and is pulling his punches for the last few rounds, its pretty obvious, also IIRC, Browne said so himself after the fight.
He's OK think Parker beats him if they fight. Pinged for PED's has turned me off him. He did it accidentally the first time IMO but the 2nd time probably not.
Yeah.... okay, right... Because Clenbuteral makes you a massive KO artist right? The fact that he did KO him, kind of disproves this radical theory of yours.
