They are very similar. I've been saying that Broner can't box and he's a slugger, but people on this forum can't seem to distinguish between styles.

What is he skilled at?

He has stamina and the abilty to take a beating.

His punches are mostly arm punches and wild.

His stamina and his willpower are what make him hard to fight.

Just like Rios.

Honestly, I think Matthysse is a bad match up for him. And Matthysse is not all that great.

It's just he's better than Broner. He doesn't arm punch, that's for sure.

And with Broner's bad defense, Broner is going to take a hell of a beating.

Now, don't get me wrong. Broner's ability to take a beating is one of the best in the sport, like Rios.

So he could very well come back to beat Matthysse.

But that's a tough way to have a career.

My ranking is Margo, Rios, and Broner. Although Broner is not far behind Rios.

The sooner Broner accepts that he's not a "defensive wizard" and his attributes and temperament are best for a brawler, the better. He is really a brawler at heart and he is fighting it, for some reason
