    Lets say it happens 2014

Lucas moves up after clearing out 140

    Who would win?

Lucas has beaten the MUCH BETTER COMP, but he is moving up

Thurman the naturally bigger guy, who has even fought at 154

    Definitely ends in a KO!

    Who gets sparked?

Lucas is too small and I would say he would lose. If both were equal in weight the. I'd give Matthyse the edge based on experience.

Lucas spars middleweights, the way Thurman tries to land one shot will be his downfall especially against Lucas.

I'd say Lucas... Even though 140 is his 'final' weight.. He might retire at 147.

The real winner: boxing fans. This is guaranteed fireworks.

I have no idea how Lucas's power and chin will work at 147. I hate to pick against the guy, but can't really pick him either.

The thing about this fight is that Thurman would happily take it.

    Thurman wins.

    Clever name, love it. Lol.

Assuming they are ever at the same weight at the same time, then the smart money is on Mattysse.

I like Thurman as much as the next "desperate-for-something-real" boxing fan, but Lucas is probably too fast for Thurman, both offensively AND defensively. Thurman is strong, aggressive, and fearless, but he still has awkward movements & defensive holes. Mattysse is almost a perfect fighter.

I don't think it would even be close.

Heck, Mattysse could probably take out Floyd right now.

I hope that this was a joke post.

    1. Matthysse is actually pretty slow. And I don't know how you can have "fast" defense.

    2. That lost to an old, past prime Judah.

    3. Yet he fought close fights with Alexander and Judah.

    4. Jesus Christ.

Wow. I HOPE you're just a troll.

1: There's more to speed than just dancing around. Arm speed & head movement are much more important. - And you don't know how a fighter can be fast, defensively? New to boxing, are you?

2: He BEAT Judah. Everyone knows this. (Except you, evidently.)

3: See #2. Also, he's become a much more aggressive fighter since those two robberies.

4: He can't help you. JC was pretty good at walking on water, feeding large crowds from a small basket, & other magic tricks, but removing feet from mouths was never his thing.
