Lucas Matthyse vs Pacquiao, Marquez, Bradley

Pac doesn't really set things up. At his best, he just overwhelms you. As good as Matthysse's firepower is, he's not on a level with Pac when it comes to just burning your ****ing house down. Since that's the only way he fights, I can't see him coming out on top save a JMM style bomb right on the button that Pac doesn't see coming.

People are getting a little carried away. Lucas hits hard, but he's NEVER landed a shot like the one Pac laid on Ricky Hatton.

2008 Pac was a totally different animal.

 

All true. I think it would be fight of the century though. Provodnikov isn't far behind Lucas in power or skill, fights the same way and it would be amazing for as long as it lasted.

 

Lucas would throttle Timmy. I don't know if it's the same pac after he got ktfo so ill reserve judgement on that one. I could see JMM setting traps and countering Lucas to death, it's really a 50/50 fight unless JMM gets old(er) overnight.

 

JMM isn't a defensive cutie, and I haven't seen anyone trying to portray him as one. He's a counterpuncher. Occasionally he gets caught, but his game is to give back twice as much as you give him. JMM is a better p4p fighter than Lucas, plain and simple. In his prime, a MUCH better fighter. The question is how much he has left and imho it looked like not much until he landed that bomb on Manny.

 

2008 Pac would have beaten him easily.

I do believe that Lucas would beat the current version of Pac, though.

at this point to say Peterson is on the level of those 3 is premature.

 

Mattysse did well, but nothing he has done yet shows he could beat Pacman. Great win tho.

 

Any version of PAC,Marquez,or Bradley wouldn't stand a chance IMO
