    Well Sherlock, NO KIDDING!!! Danny beat your ass!!!

    He would have gotten it had he beaten Danny, but he didn't!! He got whooped. He was groomed to be the next opponent for Mr.Mayweather, but he botched it completely.

    Not only this, but he goes on fighting J.Molina, Roberto Ortiz and Ruslan and he thinks he's going to get big lucrative fights :patsch.

    He's never been world champion in his career and he wants a crack at Floyd and he's whining about it right now. :lol::patsch:rofl

    The delusion is real, very real.

    Where do we begin?

    1. Danny didn't "beat his ass", it was a highly competitive fight and a spirited effort from both men.

    2. He fought Molina, Ortiz, and Ruslan... who has Berto fought?

    3. One thing we agree on, sort of. Matthysse doesn't deserve the fight right now but neither does Berto.

    Be consistent, boy.

    1. It was a spirited effort by both men but Danny clearly won, and Lucas was beaten up. Put on his ass.

    2. Berto is a former 2x world champion, Lucas is a 0 time world champion

    3. Berto is a much more accomplished fighter than Lucas Matthysse. :deal.

    He's slipped a bit but he would still beat Lucas. :yep

    Berto is also a bigger name. :deal

    Eh, we disagree but we're not too far apart. Boxing is a "what have you done for me lately" sport. And I'd argue that Matthysse is more accomplished than Berto in recent times, so that "former" 2x champion is irrelevant. I think Mattysse vs Berto would be a competitive fight so they aren't too far apart H2H IMO. And I think Matthysse is currently a bigger name.

    Competitive how?

    The dude's power is very overrated and he's not stopping Berto.

    The only time Berto has ever been stopped was when he was plagued with a shoulder cuff rotator tear starting in r2.

    The dude is overrated, always has been and always will be.

    He's also not a bigger name. :patsch

    Ain't nobody saying that Berto deserves it (More than the other top guys at WW), but Matthysse definitely deserves it much less than Berto.

    Matthysse is a complete waste of time.

    My point is, they aren't too far apart. You're downplaying Matthysse too much though.

    What has he done since losing to Garcia for us to rate him highly? :think

    - Threatening to retire
    - Whine about losing the Mayweather fight
