    Well, bear context in mind. Most would assume Pac to be close to calling it a day, Matthysse's thought process is most likely that he wants to be the one who serves Pacquiao that final notice and sends him on his way.


    I never did warm to this guy, though. Something of a hollow bully in the ring, and always seemed charmless out of it.

    Rios and Vargas also explicitly expressed a desire to end the career of the infinitesimal welterweight from the Pilllapeens. I wonder if their proclamations portend a similar beatdown for the Argentine with the ultra-feminine middle name (Martine).

    I'd certainly hope so. Manny Pacquiao has been boxing's rock 'n' roll star for the 21st century. It'll be a sad day when he's no longer walking to the ring with a smile plastered across his face like he's heading to a date with that year's Binibining Pilipinas winner. Long may he run.
