Lucas Matthysse vs Lamont Peterson! On the week Prediction!

    I really feel Peterson will beat Lucas by decision. He has too much heart and I've never seen him so determined before, he will definitely give it all until the very end.

    Matthysse is a great fighter and will probably start well whilst Peterson is adapting to his style. But I think as the fight goes on Peterson will grow in confidence and engage more with Lucas and both guys could end up on the canvas. But I think Peterson will be moving a lot more than people expect, he wont be coming forward all the time and he will try box on the back foot and as the fight goes on Peterson will nick the rounds.

    Lucas will have his moments but as the fight goes on I think he will press for the knockout much more but it just won't happen.

    Peterson by decision.

    Peterson is the better boxer and has more tools in the tool belt. He is also a warrior who'll never quit..

    Peterson by decision, I feel that he simply wants it too much and he has the skills to outbox Lucas.

    Will lose alot of confidence in my boxing knowledge if Matthysse loses.

    "Peterson is the better boxer" - This is a myth.

    We've seen Matthysse outboxed before and Peterson has all the tools to do it and get the victory.

    I think Matthysse stops him in a war but wouldn't be surprised by a Peterson win either, 555-45 in favour of Lucas for me.....great style clash, great fight guaranteed.

    But I expect Peterson to get the win or draw if it goes the distance and it's relatively close.

    I really feel Peterson is one of those fighters that will never be knocked out, like a Mosley.

    Peterson takes it. By the time Matthysse figures Lamonts jab out and tries to counter it with the right hand, Peterson will already be a step ahead, making Matthysse pay to the body and landing the left hook. Matthysse will become hesistant and his punch output decrease when hes in there with a world class fighter. Lamont outworks him and lands the clean shots over 12 rds. I could see either fighter being visibly hurt or going down but Lamont will come out of this on top.

    I have Peterson by ud or late stoppage in a fight of the year candidate that can end with Lucas winning by ko...haha

    Matthysse KO 10. I feel like PEDerson will outbox Lucas for most of the contest, but I feel confident that Lucas will be able to do what no one else has done, knock PEDerson out! If PEDerson wins a decision, I won't be surprised. I certainly know it is a possibility. Either way, my pick is the same. Lucas KO 10. War Matthysse!!!
