Like so many other people I think this is a really even match up. I hadn't made up my mind, but after re-watching some of their fights today, I'm going with Peterson by decision. Matthysse's power may be a just a little overrated. I used to think Peterson didn't have quite what it takes to be the top dog in his division, but his heart and subsequent success have shown he does. Matthysse will likely have to drop Peterson few times or really spark him out to win. I don't rule that outcome out, but I think there's a 55-60% chance it won't happen. That being said, I kind of hope hope Matthysse wins. I'm not a betting man, so this fight is win-win for me. I just hope it's as exciting as it should be.

I can't wait for this fight. Alexander-Purdy is going to be a real snoozer tho, so that kind of hampers the card overall. But Peterson-Matthysse should be great and the prelim fights look decent.

Would people agree, its very likely to be either a Matthysse KO/TKO or a Peterson Decision??

Thinking of betting big on a Matthysse KO and covering myself with a Peterson Decision. Cant really see any other outcome here?

Nothing wrong with this.. I wish other posters would just call it as it is, instead of pretending it has to do with other factors.
