    Matthysse is swinging in left hooks on the jaw as Provodnikov wades in. Sharp right hands by Matthysse, thrown short and straight, powerful, snapping Provodnikov's head back. Provodnikov is forging ahead, standing up to some very resonant head shots and not flagging but also not getting his own punches off. Matthysse is landing combinations on the backfoot, crisply. Provodnikov is jacked immobile by a left uppercut. WILD haymakers by Provodnikov, now cut and swollen all over his face. Matthysse is working stiff triple jabs every time a lull occurs, and ripping hard power shots when Provodnikov starts to push down on the gas pedal. Matthysse is leaning back, catching a chopping flurry on the fists and forearms, stepping out of range and lining up a counter 1-2. Big left hook by Provodnikov.
