    Matthysse is jabbing and pushing in close, working a left uppercut. Provodnikov flurries inside, smothered. Benji Esteves calls timeout and walks Matthysse into his corner to have a glove re-taped. Provodnikov is working left hooks with uppercuts behind them. Forceful power combos by Provodnikov. Matthysse is hit with a big left hook, legs buckling, clinching. Provodnikov is swinging HARD and high with the hook. Matthysse ducks and holds. Matthysse touches his left elbow to his knee and then snaps up with a stiff jab on the chin. Provodnikov explodes on him with chopping rights and left hooks. Big rally. Matthysse holds again. Half a minute left. Break. 1-2 by Matthysse, missing. Provodnikov is shoved off and hit with a left hook and light right hand. Matthysse arm-weary. Wild flurry by Matthysse.
