Lucas Matthysse Vs. Viktol Postol: Who Wins and How?!

I think Lucas may be one of those guys that just cannot win a title fight .

 

I've seen nothing to suggest that he is better than Matthysse or Peterson (should Peterson stay at 140),

I haven't seen much of postol but he's damn near 6ft. Lucas had trouble with long lanky guys like 5'10 1/2 molina who is really a bad boxer.

 

Interesting fight. I'd fancy Matthysse by KO.

I will root for Matthysse.

I am not familiar enough with Postol, though, to make a prediction.

Experience tells me never to discount an excellent boxer.

Lucas is used to destroying fighters larger than him. Even Soto, a natural superfeatherweight, hovers over Matthysse. Real compact power for you.

 

Matty is a tiny little dude, but I fully expect him to beat miniature Wlad

 

It's an interesting fight. Postol's height and reach alone could be enough to give Lucas trouble. Much like the Molina fight until Mathysse adjusted and went inside, which is what I think we'll see here, Lucas applying alot of pressure and trying to get the fight inside. That said, Postol is a hell of alot smarter and is a much better boxer than Molina.

Viktor is rangy from the outside, has a good jab, a high workrate and is overall fairly technically sound but he does tend to mix it up close maybe too much, which could be asking for trouble with his stiff as a board, chin up style against a pretty solid counterpuncher in Lucas. But really though, the key here is if he can get Mathysse's respect or not. If he can stop Lucas in his tracks and force an outside fight for 12 rounds, I can see him winning ...but I doubt it.

Matthysse has this, he knows his being judge for a pac fight. If his determine to get that money fight than he batter do a good job at it.

But than again im not counting out postol either. :bbb

 

Postol decision is 3-1 ludicrous odds for a 50/50 fight.
