Lucaz BRUTALLY KOs the overrated Postol!

Postol isn't overrated. Cherry Garcia just ducked him like the plague. No one's saying Postol is an elite talent or future kingpin of a division.

He's very good, though. Guerrero and Soto Karass both weren't able to KO Selcuk.

 

Aydin had many troubles coming to that fight, he's not the kind of fighter to be knocked out by a guy with such a poor KO record(less than 40% coming to that fight). He got knocked out because he had a bad camp and lacked the conditioning to finish the fight. I don't know who overrates Postol but he's what he is, a B grade fighter at best. I expect Lucas to knock him out early.

 

I'm not sure who overrates Postol. If anyone is overrated in this fight, it's Matthysse right now. People think he can outbox Postol because he outboxed Provodnikov atsch.

And Postol does have sneaky KO power.

 

If he was B-grade, then why did Garcia duck him so viciously? Gave him a huge paycheck just to duck him.

Nobody said anything about Matthysse outboxing Postol, they said he would win by KO.
I havent seen any Postol 's fights but with all i have read in this forum the guy has a good jab and a good reach and if he is smart enough he could give Matthysse problems in the second half of the fight.

Well he's certainly not better than Peterson, that's for sure. Garcia has been in the ring with a lot better fighters and I don't imagine he ducked Postol because he's scared, but more likely that no one knows Postol so it'd be a terrible fight financially, I'd guess.

It's not disclosed, but it is disclosed that they gave him step-aside money. That'd be a pretty huge lump sum of money for anyone to not take a title shot that he'd win. Yes, Postol would've schooled Garcia, easily. Something that Matthysse could not do.

 

He's better than Peterson, that's for sure. If anyone would actually watch him fight, they'd know he'd school Garcia. That's why Garcia didn't want no part of Postol.
