    90% of the boxing world DKSAB then .

    Barely no one was giving Maidana a chance .

    Anyhow we just cant assume its a 100% guaranteed win for Lucas , Unless the fight happens , we will never truly know what the result will be PERIOD .

    You'd think Oscar and Haymon (previously) were out to sabotage Lucas' career with their matchmaking. The thought has crossed my mind before.

    Oscar saying its possible is just saying hes willing to match his guy.

    I highly doubt Arums plans for his fighters involve Lucas Matthysse. I hope Im wrong... Matthysse vs Rios is one hell of a fight, but I don't see why Top Rank would offer Rios in that one.


    Rios vs Ruslan would be another great fight.

    To be honest Id prefer that, Matthysse has bigger fish to fry right now then Rios.

    Bam Bam has been down. Joel Ortega, who has gone 5-14 since, dropped Rios twice. The first was a reaching body shot, and the second was a follow up flurry after a solid blow to the head. That was over 9 years ago, so to correct the statement he hasn't been down in nearly a decade.

    prolly wont happen cuz those fights r hard to make. oscar is just sayin he is willing to do it but we dont hear anything bout bob wanting to do it.

    I wish they'd stop making Matthysse into some toughman side show fighter. Let him fight for a title. Let guys like Rios and Provodnikov put on these Kimbo like fights

    Not a good fight for Lucas as a WW debut. Rios is the #3 WW in the world right now in my opinion. He shouldn't have a go at that level so soon.

    Based on "my opinion" as Ive said. I dont consider losing to Pac a big failure, Chavez got DQd for a reason, he couldnt handle Rios in the later rounds so he had to resort to clinching. When I say #3 I leave Floyd and Pac out of the picture, my ranking for WW is 1- Thurman 2-Brook 3-Rios.
