Pavlik has fought above MW 14 times, not twice. He will not finish up at the Betty Ford Center until the first week of February. Bute has a date on Showtime March 19th. Pavlik is simply not available for that date, and you know it.

Bika lost his last two fights. He lost to Sam Soliman, and went life and death with Jaidon Codrington. He also has a loss to Bute. He's not a better opponent than Magee, and only a fool would say he is.

Did you even see Andrade's last fight? If Eric Lucas had any power, Andrade would have another KO loss on his record.

Nothing you have said on this thread makes sense. You are either just trolling, or you a dumber than a bucket of hammers.

And who do you think Bute will end up fighting for 2M a piece?

Yeah. Because Magee signed for Bute....

Interbox has little confidence in him that's for sure. Otherwise he'd been tested against others than journeymen, has-beens and clubfighters.

Showtime no doubt expects him to fight these top 168 guys, an i am sure that is what bute thought going into the contract with them. Staying at HBO for less money an no top 168 guys, yea if he did that, then maybe you could call him a ducker.
I remember a few years back showtime try to get hopkins on showtime, an part of the deal was a match up with calzaghe, an hopkins turned down more money rather then fight joe, so that to me is ducking.
Now in three fights, they are all the magees of the world, then yea, he needs step up

My bet on those three fights will be:

    1: Magee.
    2: Mendy.
    3: Stevens.

    Yours?

I wouldn't doubt his second fight being a mendy or even pavlik (i see he is ranked), but number three has got be somone in the tournament, or why bring him aboard. I say it will be froch, an that how i see it happening

Actually Roy Jones has recently given him some great tips on how to find the easiest cab drivers, cops & firemen to fight and look good in the process.

Lets see if it pays off...

All I really wanted to say is that Bute could find a better opponent to fight than Brian Magee. There's no way you can tell me that Magee is the best guy available. What about Tavoris Cloud, undefeated LHW champ? Just go to boxrec and look at the best fighters at or near SMW and you'll realise that Bute is trying to have a career like Lennox Lewis had: basically hiding waiting for the best fighters to beat each other and get past their primes, and fighting them when they're shot and he's still fresh because he will not have fought the wars that Froch, Ward and Abraham will have fought. Shameless.
