Lucian Bute accepts terms for Mads Larsen defense

    But the contracts aren't yet signed and Larsen is still asking for too much money.It all could be solved by january 6th when there is a purse bid between Andrade and Tsypko(another Sauerland) fighter.Source: ESB

    Either late or decision,can't see it otherway but the thing is if Larsen keeps asking for more he might get refused and not get the fight anymore.That would be good as surely Bute can fight a better opponent.

    larsen getting a fight with bute is truly a gift for him. he hasn't earned this fight and it's probably because he's only seen as a euro champ that he's getting it.

    it's ironic that kessler is more deserving of a bute fight and yet isn't boosting his rep overseas to make big fights come to him.

    If Kessler had signed for a fight, Larsen would already have signed the contract. But he thinks a fight against Mikkel is possible. Even Bute wouldn't give a **** of Larsen if there was not that clause from the Berrio fight. bute would take Taylor. The scenario is now Bute-Larsen, Froch-Taylor (I hope) and Kessler-??? Bute will have to fight the winner of Andrade-Tsypko. Do you think he has time to make another optional?

    Don't underestimate Larsens ability to mess up his own career. He's world class in that respect

    He should be thankful to his promoter to have a shot at a belt. A couple of years away and no significant opponent since his return. When a chance like that comes to you, you just sign the damn contract. Not time to be fussy. If he doesn't, Sauerland will want Bute-Tsypko as an optional. If I were Larsen, I wouldn't push my luck too far.

    Can't argue with that one bit. He should take what'll probably be his last good payout and chance at a title, try to make the most of it, and be thankful for the chance.

    Optiobnal when?He will fight Larsen in march probably and then Andrade(or Tsypko) in jult probably.He might figth an optional after that.
