I felt like the whole night the commentators were so heavily in favor of Andrade and gave little to no credit to Bute until the first knockdown. Only Harold Lderman was praising him. Kellerman showed the first fight count and the clock but did not say how Bute was on his feet at 9 and how Andrade rushed out of the corner halting the count. Also during the fight I remember after Bute rocked Andrade with a left hand but Andrade came back with a few shots and they said wow looks like those uppercuts got Butes attention in a hurry. And Bute connected well and the announcers were like he just goes numb when hit and does not feel a thing. He was definitly feeling those shots. And finally the part that made me laugh the most was the last knockdown Lennox was like wow was that a body punch or a head punch. Whatever. But the Funeka was amazing both guys throwing bombs with almost every punch they threw. I thought Funeka won 116-112 or even 117-111 but I understand the draw. I guess they gave Guzman 3 of the first 4 and the 12th. I guess thats what they did. Like Lederman said there were a few swing rounds. I thought Funeka won but he won by 2 rounds on the one card so to say that 2 rounds went the other way is not to hard to explain. I think Funeka won but I understand the draw. Reminds me of Rahman Toney

do you think that if Guzman wasn't a GBP fighter, it would still have been a draw?

It is very possible several Golden Boy events have had controversy I'm just saying the winning judge was 116-112. To me it is not hard to believe that two rounds could have gone the other way. Maybe the two judges that had the draw gave Guzman 3 of the first 4 and the 12th. Very justifiable and very possible and by doing that the fight becomes a draw. Maybe Golden Boy had their hand in it but the fact that there were some close rounds especially the first 4 and 12 the judges who were also inexperienced could make mistakes or see it a certain way. I thought Funeka won but I don't think it was the robbery of the century like some people.

That was a pretty bad decision. Not as bad as Santa Cruz/ Casamayor....but bad. I don't think Bute is the victim of bias. They had to say some nice things about his opponent....no? Andrade had gained some support after the 1st fight....and lost it just as quickly when he was revealed to be a mediocre fighter. The whole debacle in the 1st fight needed to be addressed, though...but they should have mentioned that Bute was up before what would have been the 10 count. The ref made himself look bad. The timekeeper didn't help him.

Hmmm... I dunno man, I disagree, at least for the commentary DURING the fight. I thought they were being pretty even in calling the fight this time.

Maybe I'm just used to Gus Johnson's completely one-sided way of calling a fight, lol!
