    I am not going into froch-ward re-match cos it is what it is. Your reason for carl not wanting to fight ward again is misleading.. Froch does not fear loosing or any result nor does he fear ward physically. What he went on record saying is that wards style is all about nullifying his opponent, boring but very effective. He also said he did not want to fight against such a negative style again but would if the re-match was wanted. Now you can disagree with what froch says but he is doing something right cos right now i am betting he is where the excitement and money is at in the super middle weight division. Ward is the best boxer but thats all, his lack of excitement and lack of risk taking sees to this.

    Can I ask if you think ward would have beat and stopped bute as emphatically as froch did?

    Bute would still stop oscar nominee Dirrell :deal

    At the end of the day styles make fights and Ward just got Froch's number.
    As a huge Ward and Froch fan id rather not see that rematch

    I think Ward would of taken a more tactical approach to breaking down Bute......he would of bashed up Bute's face, and I think he would of wore down Bute, and put him in retreat. Bute would not of been stopped in the same way or as quick, but I do think he would be very tired and starting to take a lot of punishment late and most likely get stopped in the 10th or 11 rounds. Froch jumps in and takes risks and he could do that with a fight of the level of Bute and he got the job done sooner.....but it's a case of styles make fights.

    Mind you the dumbest ones are those that call world class fighters 'leftovers'. No appreciation of what a tough game it is.

    I love Carl....but I asked him straight up before the fight and he had not interest in it.

    On whether he would be interested in pursuing a rematch with Ward for a unification match in the event he beats Bute:

    “Absolutely not if I’m totally honest. I think Andre Ward steps up to light heavyweight anyway, so I don’t think a unification fight with Andre Ward is there. Because of the reasons I’ve said about Ward I’ve got no aspirations or desire to fight him. I don’t like that style of fighting! I got no respect for it. It’s obviously very effective with what he does, but let’s be honest. He’s not very exciting, and I’m an exciting type of fighter. I’m in there to entertain, I’m in there to please the television, put bums on seats, and get the crowd going. And a fight with Andre Ward, anybody against Andre Ward, it’s never going to happen. Look at all of his fights. They’re all the same.”


    The win for Ward had nothing to do with location...it was in Atlantic City, and the judges were overly fair to Carl......Carl took the loss like a man and admitted where he stood......but he clearly does not want the fight cause he knows that Ward's style will make it difficult for him to win.

    Was shocked what Froch did tonight. Maybe Bute can give Ward a better fight, Ward is no hard hitter. I don't know after what Froch did to Bute though, I have lost a lot of respect for Bute's abilitys.

    Exactly, he is not that interested in the fight due to wards style not because he fears the result. As you should know, styles make fights and imo ward doesn't have the weapons in his arsenal in order to stop bute like froch did and all the while bute is around he is dangerous because he has power. Ward would fight a very cagey fight and win a boring ud imo. Hence why he is the most skilled SM but struggles for adulation even in his home country.

    First off... Respect to Froch for what he did tonight..

    next I liked to start off with a quote.. "Just Win Baby" - Al Davis
    Naturally Repping Oakland... Ward just wins he doesn't care about the so called adulation... He lets the results speak for themselves.. and he is all W's no Losses...
