I had a look at your first post: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12121283&postcount=8 I predict you will become an ATG poster. Thank you for joining and for your valuable contribution. ESB needs more posters like you! :good
Many of the current SMWs dont have outstanding chins. Bute as shown here was stopped and was in trouble against Andrade. Ward was knocked down and wobbly legged against Boone in getting a lucky decision and was also hurt in another fight. Andre Dirrell was smashed to the floof by a journeyman looking hurt and KOd by Abraham, Steiglitz has suffered KOs. Froch has shown a good chin but it looks ready to go, with his wobbly legs against Dirrell. Kessler still shows a good chin, though I dont think he takes body shots well. Gone are the days where SMWs had great chins where even if they were put over they werent staggering around and having to cling on for dear life. Calzaghe, Ottke, Eubank never did this, in fairness neither did prime Reid, and Woodhall didnt really either
Thank you :good.. It will be a pleasure to share my boxing wisdom with you here on ESB, all these frauds needs to be exposed :yep
Great! :good How would you explain Bute's so-called glass-jaw in the context of him taking flush power-punches from the likes of Berrio and Bika without wobbling? And what is the significance of the fact that punchers like Miranda and Zuniga couldn't cause Bute a problem? I cannot wait to read your enlightened analysis!
Both Kessler and Froch are iron jawed warriors.. Calzaghe had a strong mandible aswell.. Ottke was a fraud, he shouldn't be mentioned in any honourable way.. Ward and Dirrell both has shaky mandibles, but they haven't been KO'ed on the big stages like Lucy (Abraham doesn't count, it was a clear foul, Dirrell still acted like a ***** though)
Take a look at your "Iron Chinned Warrior " Floored at 0:43 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQkhSV9yIbc[/ame]
Berrio: Not exactly what i would call a dangerous puncher on the elite level(despite all his KOs), not really that skilled, flawed defense and had a grade A+ china chin. Bika: Well, a pretty good fighter i must admit, but a real punch threat? no Miranda: Shot to pieces and was fighting above his prime weight (the weight wasn't really a issue imo, but Miranda was never the shame after Abraham and Pavlik). Zuniga: Had a good punch yes, but not really a good contender, more like a gatekeeper..
