    x2.
In truth the fight should be where it can draw the biggest crowd and make the most for the fighters. This fight wouldnt make sense in America and should be in Denmark, Romania, Canada etc

335.000 Romanians (Romania has a ~22 million population) watched the match live, at TV at 5 o'clock in the morning. His title defense is to take place on a stadium in Bucharest at a decent hour. Unfortunately he's the single champion Romania has. Other popular sports lack "VIPs", so to say. That means he won't make 1$ in Romania, of course.

Bute will draw at least 14 000 in Romania and that against any1 not Kessler. Fans will go to see the enigmatic World Champion with 7 defenses that they are so proud of, not for boxing itself but for what Lucian represents , to support an honest and modest men who have reached the top of the world. A men who comes from a poor family. It won't make sense tho , because boxing is not so popular in Romania, Bute is but not boxing itself and it won't make sense to put him against Mikkel when the Dane himself won't present that much interest for the crowd, and won't make much of a difference in the nr. of spectators present, maybe 2 000 - 3 000 more will come. But in Montreal a Bute v Kessler could draw over 25 000 fans.

I'm not gonna lie to you: not a single seat or square meter of grass must be unoccupied for the sales to be on par with what he makes in Canada.

That's why I said it wouldn't make such big money. 5 USD for a boxing match ain't a thing to brag about in most of Europe.

10 USD will be a decent price for me to pay. Over 20 USD will be a little expensive but still would pay.And I not a rich guy. I won't probably pay over 25 USD.

Anywhere, then he specifically mentions Canada, USA or Romania.:rofl

Come to Parken when Kessler has two eyes and is injury free, they'll sell out a large capacity stadium.

Of corse, Kessler is the only champ coming from your freezing part of the world. I understand the envy of not seeing great fights in Sweden, since MK is now with Sauerland. Here in Montreal, we are blessed with the likes of Bute, Pascal, Lemieux....we have something like 8 or 9 guys in the top 10 of different belts. Plus, even or neighbors from the south are starting to get upset with us, because, the major promos, being Showtime or HBO are interested to make business here. That must explain parts of the hate Bute gets from a bunch of you guys..... envy. Sorry, it's only the beginning, you will have to get used to this situation, because it will only get better for us, in our great city of Montreal. Other than that, bunch of you should think with your head for a change....hating on pro boxers is stupid, even if I don't like all boxers, they all get my respect for being modern day warriors. What is you reason for being such pricks, it's out of my understanding....or you don't really like boxing!!!!

I was near ringside. Together with a yank I've met on a boxingboard. I paid about the same. :)
