Your delusion holds no bounds. After Mendy or Sherrington, when Bute lines up yet another stiff, will you finally realize he is not interested in fighting the best? Or will you say the same old "after (insert bum here), Bute will fight Kessler/Ward/Froch in December/January, honest!"

Wake up my man, Bute simply is not interested.

Not only that, Butards will defend it by saying it's not Bute's fault (it never is), it's the IBF/Showtime/HBO/Interbox's fault or the always famous, "nobody is available to fight, who do you want him to face" line....

Romanian press seems prety sure that the contract had been signed and JP Mendy is Bute's next opponent, the problem being now choosing the location for the fight.

They also mention about Dirrell challenging Bute and Showtime ignoring Dirrell's request for now; but they probably are just making speculations and don't realy know that A.D. wants to take a tune-up first.

Could it be that SHOWTIME is telling Dirrell to **** off into the sunset after what he did to them ? I'm sure their very bitter at Dirrell and his poor act in the tournament...

Such a talent close to being seriously wasted by a refusal of being wanted on either prime TV stations...

may very well be; but we already know Showtime wants :

    A. Kessler fighting Bute
    B. and most importantly, an undisputed champ with WBA WBC IBF belts

    C. Showtime wishes Ward wins and then fights Dirrell, who, in the meantime, would get the WBO belt. A 4 belts unification involoving 2 American boxers. I'm not sure Showtime is not on Dirrell side.

Precisely. Showtime has made it quite clear that they dont want anything to do with Dirrell. So I reckon that he'll have to start on another network and let some water under the bridge.

Ward is one now and if he wins the super six/or if froch wins the super six they are one and the other is 2. bute has no merits compared to those two. the difference is ward and froch are doing what they need to in order to be top dog. bute is wasting time with tomato cans

Don't compare Ward and Froch's path in the super 6. Ward's one was the easiest to date. At this moment, his resume is not what you pretend.

Anyway, they will face Bute because Showtime has signed him and will be the biggest payday after the tournament.

    They won't listen to you.

ill believe it when i see. wasnt it supposed to be after brinkley? instead its Brian Magee LOL. Ward is IN the tournament. and winnning that tournament is more valuable then fighting leftovers of the tournament like Bute.
