Lucian Bute is The Ring #1 SMW (with GIFs)

If you need to beat the man to be the man, when did Kessler become the man?
Kessler was not the man. #1 was Calzaghe and when he moved on, Kessler remained the highest rated one of: him, Bute and Froch. But they didn't face each other to establish which one was the man.
So now some newcomer comes along and pops Kessler's bubble and we retroactively establish him as the man, just to give more meaning to Ward's win?

 

Bute would knock Ward out cold. Ward will never allow Bute to fight in "his" tournament. Ward has all his fights in his home town and still had to win by using head butts. Ward by illegal intentional head butt. Bute won by legal punches with his fists, not his head. Ward would have a very hard time landing his head on Bute. Ward refused to fight in the tourament unless he got all his fights in his home town for some reason. Why didn't the others get that advantage? Bute is much faster than Ward will ever be, hits much harder and that is with his fists. Bute does not need to use his head over and over and over again to win a fight.

 

Is it just american fighters you hate or black fighters???

its black fighters, farmboxer loves kell pavlik. and truly believes there was a conspiracy behind the bernard hopkins schooling. he believes there's a conspiracy behind each and every victory of a black fighter over a white fighter.

 

This statement was even more convincing than Ward's. Despite being obviously a lesser fighter in general terms, Andrade was gamer here (while it lasted) than was Kessler in his beating. And he got destroyed in a way even Bute's mom didn't think possible.

 

If Bute were black, I have a pretty good feeling there'd be a number of posters here who would be nuthugging the jizz out of him to make up for not having Farmboxer as a fan. Same ****, just different sides of the fence.

 

Except if Bute was black Farmy would be saying that Andrade was threatened by the Romanian mafia to take a dive in the fight.

 

Of Course, becauwe Bute is white and Ward is.......balck.

No it wasn't. Jeez what is with the hyperbole with this win. It was a good win against a guy he beat before and who had already lost to Kessler. Andrade is a B level fighter and the only reason this fight had any hype was because Andrade had a great 12th round and a bad ref in their last fight.

Exactly- same story, only the names have changed.

As a reader, that actually makes things easy on my end because posters like that are easy to predict- I always know what side of the fence dudes like Farm and Danny Rand are going to be on. I'd have to put too much work into remembering who's got which viewpoint if posters like that started getting all unpredictable and/or politically correct and ****. :!:

 

First time I watched Bute. Wow, reminds me of Calzaghe except he punches harder and does not do any showboating.

I hear what your saying and I agree but Farmy takes things a little to far then anyone else and brings in a completely made up aspect. Danny Rand is bias but he keeps his bias to more believeable things. Farmy likes to talk about made up things like every black fighter has there own judges and Don King poisons fighter ect ect Its just annoying.

 

That's an understandable view man.

What can I say? Sometimes after a chaotic day, it's nice to know there's always the reliable "Void is void" and "Kessler's a robot" posts even though I don't agree with 'em. I'd be worried if they became more balanced even if it was for the greater good.

Oh, and so as not to completely hijack the thread- I wouldn't complain with either Ward or Bute being #1 right now. The important thing is that sorts itself shortly after the end of the Super 6 where the winner faces the best guy in the tournament.
