Lucian Bute might drag Joe Calzaghe out of reteirment

    Last week, I was at the public workout before the Bute vs Miranda fight, I had the great chance to exchange with Mr Christian Ganescu, president of Gankor Group, Bute's agent and close friend. I asked him about the next possible opponents for Lucian. My first question was about a matchup against Pavlik, his answer was quit clear, they don't want anything to do with Lucian. Pavlik will stay at 160 as long as possible. Then, I asked him about a possible unification in Romania with Stiglitz. MR Ganescu's answer was that Sauerland would never give Stiglitz's belt to Lucian, so this is also out. The next guy is talked about quit a lot these days, old Hopkins....witch could be done. I was running out of options when Mr Ganescu brought Calzaghe's name. At first, I taught no way he is reteired. Then I started to imagine Joe's comeback in his backyard outside at a football stadium, or here in Montreal, or in Vegas. Seems like Calzaghe is really looking at a comeback this year. I guess he's sick of Froch.....

    Anyway, would that fight mean something or Bute absolutely have to wait for Super Six to exit their first non finalists ?

    Im gonna sound like a Bute hater here ( which I promise I am not ! ) but thats a pointless fight , Calz was already starting to show signs of slipping hes been out of the ring boozing, partying and doing coke for over a year and he was 38 last month.

    I know Bute wants a big fight , but that aint it !

    Bute stops Calzaghe at this point. Calzaghe's too old and too rusty. I hope he has the sense to stay retired.

    Calzaghe aint coming outof retirement for no-one

    FACT

    No way does he risk his undefeated record for anyone now

    He promised his Mother and his 2 sons he will never box again, Like Lennox Lewis, he is a man of his word - he wont ever fight again

    People need to get over it, hes gone

    Unless the judges were his coke dealer, his mistress and his father, Calzaghe would get his arse royally kicked...at this point.

    There is more chance of him fighting Koki Kameda than Lucian Bute.

    Take it easy man, it's not like I would have come up with that possibility myself. I understand he wants to remain undefeated but it also seems that his life has no meaning nowadays. He misses boxing, so, he might reconsider his promise....

    You don't sound like a hater at all. I don't think it would be a good idea for Calzaghe4 to make a comeback.
