I am not using Miranda as the measuring stick. I am going by their overall performances as professionals and my opinion on how they would matchup.

IMO, Ward beats them all. Bute and a possibly a more experienced Direll are a tier down from Ward and would beat the rest. I could be wrong about Direll, I am not sold on him either way yet.

Andre Ward just impresses the hell out of me. He is next to impossible to hit and reminds me a lot of a cross between Cotto (at his best) and Mayweather. I just dont see him losing to anyone unless he gets caught by a lucky punch.

Agree to disagree then. I think it is more than likely that no fighter leave the super six with their 0 intact.

    Bute seeking challenger

    Stieglitz says no to unification

By Dave Spencer / Fightnews Canada

The search continues for a dance partner for IBF super-middleweight champion Lucian Bute and his return to his native Romania on July 24th. According to Interbox officials, WBO champion Robert Stieglitz has turned down a potential chance at unification. “It is the biggest and most significant offer we’ve ever given to an opponent of Lucian Bute. We got the answer today and unfortunately the answer was no.” With a six pack of contenders being occupied by the current Showtime televised tournament, the pickings for potential opponents are slim within the 168 division. Off the fourteen listed IBF contenders, a full seven are boxers either involved in current tournament or people Bute has already beaten. The Montreal boxer awaits the winner of the #2 and #4 contenders Jesse Brinkley and Sakio Bika in a fight set for May, but there wouldn’t be enough turn around time for that fight to happen in July.

Too bad, but not surprising. Stieglitz opted to hold on to his title :-(

okay then Bute should challenge Zsolt Erdei.
He will be a free agent after 30th june has no belt to lose but is at least the linear lhw champion and is seeking for a payday.
also a lot of Hungarians live in Romania afaik.
catchweight if Erdei cant do 168lbs but i think he can..

Stieglitz is a bum with a belt. Bute has already beaten the two fighters that beat Stieglitz.

True. It's easy to call someone who enters a ring and fights to make a living a bum when your home watching the fight...

Bute fighting another bum, what else is new. Why not go after a real champion?
