I am not using Miranda as the measuring stick. I am going by their overall performances as professionals and my opinion on how they would matchup. IMO, Ward beats them all. Bute and a possibly a more experienced Direll are a tier down from Ward and would beat the rest. I could be wrong about Direll, I am not sold on him either way yet. Andre Ward just impresses the hell out of me. He is next to impossible to hit and reminds me a lot of a cross between Cotto (at his best) and Mayweather. I just dont see him losing to anyone unless he gets caught by a lucky punch.

According to Interbox officials, WBO champion Robert Stieglitz has turned down a potential chance at unification. “It is the biggest and most significant offer we’ve ever given to an opponent of Lucian Bute. We got the answer today and unfortunately the answer was no.” With a six pack of contenders being occupied by the current Showtime televised tournament, the pickings for potential opponents are slim within the 168 division.
