:think This fight will happen if Bute gets past his next voluntary and Andrade dispatches Stieglitz. No one word answers, please; I would like everyone who posts in this thread to motivate their choice.
i think Bute wins but one thing for sure is that Andrade is gonna get alot better now that he is training in Montreal with quality sparring partners and trainers.
I think Bute by easy UD. Too much skill, speed, power. Andrade has a great chin though so i think it will go the distance
How is Bute going to deal with Andrade's more controlled and calculated but still relentless pressure?
Andrade has a 100 proof liver and an iron chin. He might not move that well and he will get his but his loopy shots will find their target, no?
i think bute will take andrade on the distance, lots of movement, and hard work on the righthand jab, then i think bute by UD.
I agree...lots of circular movement in the centre of the ring, lots of jabs and cross lefts, hooks to the body, as Pharaoh said...and he wins by 4 rounds...no? He would defend against the loopy shots from Andrade in the same way he did against Bika, who tried to jump him and surprise him and Bute simply cut in and moved right or left, dodgint the blow.
Bute just seems to be too technically superior to Andrade. The Mex seems to have a chin of iron, but also reflexes of stone. He struggled with Yusef Mack, hardly a contender, and even got knocked down. Guys like Librado who take one solid shot after another don't improve over time and he may already be on the downside. He must have been hit flush upside the head 100 times against Kessler, that didn't help for sure. Bute proved against Bika he's rugged enough to go the distance with a tough guy. Andrade on the other hand , has just demonstrated that he's easy to hit flush. Bute by unanimous decision.
Bute is faster, more accurate, has better footwork, better defense, is taller, has longer reach and is way more intelligent in a ring than Andrade. Problem is that he is so damn inactive in a ring. On the other hand, Andrade is VERY intense, has better stamina, is physically stronger, and has a crazy chin. On the other hand he is very one dimensional and ALWAYS comes foward. Both have good power so I can't give the edge to anyone in this fight. Now you read this and you say "Andrade is very one dimensionnal and Bute would exploit this and counter punch him to death and win this fight easily" Yes but would he be able to keep up with Andrade's pressure all night long? If you are tired against someone like Andrade you can't take a break at any moment in the fight because a relentless pressure fighter like this is gonna make you pay for every second you take off. Bute is sometimes very innactive in the ring, waiting for an opening and Andrade would exploit this by going in to work to the body and slow Bute down. But at the same time that would let the mexican vulnerable to Bute's left cross and right hook to the liver and that's what is the key in this fight because your body can only take so much and the Kessler fight really took a lot out of him so I can see Bute stoping him late...
Counterpunching to the body as Andrade charges might be the best move for Bute. This content is protected
It should be another step for Bute towards his goal of unification, probably next year. Andrade has a few good assets to show for, like; his punching power and his chin, I will even include his toughnest and that's about it. Where he is lacking would be; the speed of punches, his defensive movements ( he's a go foward only type of guy ), workrate, and overall lack of ability that will keep him away from the top of SMW. As for Lucian, Andrade is the type of opposition he enjoys the most, because all he has to do is stay away from the bombs and make him pay with the snapping jab, the hard left to the liver, a new uppercut and the not so well known powerfull left. Style wise, Bute is far better technician with top notch skills in every aspects of the game, while Andrade is more unidimentionnal. Easy UD for Bute or K.O. in the championship rounds for Bute. I would prefer the second option to make a statement for the next opposition, especially Kessler who Andrade stayed in for 12 rounds.... Very nice things to come indeed.....
I'm not sure Bute will love the pressure that comes with Andrade but he cannot worry about that too much...I agree!
