I guess that Bika was the most pressure Lucian had to face so far, and even if he started to cope well with it only after 3 or 4 rounds, he was there before.

It's all part of the plan that Stéphane Larouche is setting up for Lucian. So, I really think that this time he will be ready and able to avoid problems that Andrade would like to bring.

Andrade will tire Bute like no other but Bute should win on skillset alone.

My guess would be a Bute decision, something like 9-3 or 10-2. Andrade has a granite chin but taking as much shots as he is, his chin should loose a notch or two by the time he face Bute. :p

    Can you make a poll?

Tough fight, with non stop action. Bute has the edge with his better defence, and his harder punching. Andrade though has non stop pressure and fantastic stamina so this will not end in a KO. Bute 3 or 4 point UD. (116-112)

I don't want to make a poll because I want a discussion and a debate, not a popularity contest or names thrown about randomly.

Id just like to see the general consensus without having to read through every post.

The consenus is as follows: Amsterdam thinks Andrade will beat Bute with pressure which Bute won't be able to handle. Brooklyn1550 agrees with him...as does huki:lol:

Pretty much everyone else thinks Bute's skills and speed will be too much for Andrade, in a tough, long night for Bute.

This is a fight where I wouldn't be surprised if Andrade or Bute won. I'll hold off a pick right now, but I will say this: Andrade is one of the most physically weathering fighters in boxing. He's very limited and looks extremely sloppy on film. But he does have some things going for him that could present problems for just about anybody. His chin is rock solid - to the point where he was literally walking through Kessler's punches seemingly unphased. His stamina is great and he can fight hard in the late rounds if need be. He brings good power too. The snap on his shots aren't great, but he has very heavy hands. I actually think his handspeed is a bit underrated - he isn't as slow as some claim. If fighters don't have the power to keep him off, they need lateral movement because Andrade has little variation in his own movement. It's the way to offset his style. If you allow him to cut off the ring or stay stationary, he's going to blast you with punches.

Bute can win this fight in my opinion by implementing a similar strategy as Kessler. He would have to be very smart, defensively aware, give different angles, stick his right jab, potshot, and avoid the ropes and corners at all costs. His defense needs work though.

Like I said, it's a fight that could go either way and I could see Andrade winning based on his physical strength, pressure, chin, power, and stamina. He could stand a good chance of roughing up Bute, leaving an impression on the judges with harder punches and aggression. It would be Bute's job to make sure that Andrade's aggression is ineffective.

Probably Bute by decision, because Andrade's defence is his face.

Highly unlikely considering Bute couldn't stop Joppy and Berrio until later in the fight. Andrade has a better chin than both of them and he's far more durable and strong.

Everyone thinks Bute is a better boxer than he is, truth be told, he's more a fighter than a boxer and you don't fight with Andrade unless you're a KO hitter and that's not Mr. Bute.

He's weak to pressure and will be pushed on the ropes and chopped down, it's what happens.

Andrade is another relentless fighter with solid chin, but Bute has speed and movements to defeat Andrade . . . Bute by wide UD.
