Thank you. A couple of things: Andrade - his chin will not get better the more he gets hit...Stieglitz will test it...and so will Bute...in the end, Andrade's chin will not be as good as it was against Kessler, by the time he fights Bute. Secondly, let us assume he works on his footwork and precision by Bute, with his Montreal trainers. Bute - his jab is already better than it was against Bika and Berrio and so is his defence. Both will be better still by Andrade. Good enough? Too early to say, but they will be better. So, to the fight: Bute doesn't have stamina problems, he can go 12 rounds at high pace. Andrade keeps coming and swinging and advancing for 12 rounds, but his footwork gets worse and worse as he gets more tired and his punch is wilder and less precise. Bute does quite well controlling the movement in the ring. Bika, whilst not being a pressure fighter has pressed him and jumped him with looping shots the kind Andrade uses, attempting to close in and get inside...it hasn't really worked. Berrio tried too, and so did Joppy, and it didn't really work. Admittedly, they're not pressure fighters, but trying to press Bute and get inside didn't really work. Andrade will do better but not much better. Bute can move well and knows how to stay off the ropes and how to fight in the centre of the ring. Also, Andrade cannot fight his "mindless" usual pressure fight against Bute. Bute will make is a bit more tactical whether Andrade wants it or not...Bute will control the rhythm more too...this will affect Andrade's style, whether he wants to or not. Finally, Bute will not test Andrade's chin as much as he will test his "liver" - everyone gets hurt by a good liver shot, and Bute is good at working the body. Not least, he has a good chin himself, and if Andrade gets to hit Bute, Bute gets to hit Andrade's body too. On the whole, I see a hard, contested fight going twelve rounds if Andrade doesn't fight bullishly, withe a fairly wide decision for Bute, or, if Andrade comes gunning round after round, Bute migth even fight more at close quarters and perhaps even stop him with bodyshots in the championship rounds...
Bute can box and he is training himself to box, to avoid fighting. He likes a fight though, especially if he's pushed into fighting by necessity. Andrade has a good chin but everyone can be hurt to the body. Bute loves to hit to the body - this is how he stopped Joppy - it started with a liver-shot. Bute looks weak to pressure because he's not pressured very often. I have not seen Bute against the ropes yet - his movement is good enough to avoid it. His jab will be good enough, as will be his defence to keep Andrade's respect as he comes forward. Bute will turn it into a boxing match and will even fight Andrade when he becomes too friendly, up close. I would be very surprised if Andrade caused Bute big problems. Might be a harder fight than Bika, but Bute will be better than he was against Bika.
WRONG AGAIN... Everybody seem to forget BERRIO..., Berrio was the best fighter Bute even fought, and he hit harder than Andrade and put more pressure. Bute will beat Andrade easier than he did with Berrio.
Andrade will get destroy to the body by bute... just as Bika, Berrio, Joppy and all other Bute opponent. Truth is, Bute is a body puncher destroyer, Andrade will simply stop throwing punches after round 8, and Bute will destroy him for round 9-10-11 than stop him in the 12 and final round. Bute stamina is underrated... Bika is a overrated fighter..., Berrio give Bute much more trouble than Bika. Truth 2 is : Berrio beat Andrade any day of the week :deal ! Truth 3 is : STIEGLITZ UD Andrade !
I beleive Andrade's pressure will cause Bute problems because even tho he can fight going backward. He does not like it. Bute will eventually solve that problem and win a decision. The scores will depend where the fight takes place. If it takes place in Montreal it will be wider. If it takes place in the USA. It will be closer.
While I see Bute winning it won't be as easy as some on here suggest....Andrade is progressing quite well......Bute wins a CLOSE decision
Who cares Andrade is Mediocre! My God this is ridiculous wait until Bute fights a live one before creating these crappy threads
Hey Redface, were you at those two fights live, because, from my seat, Bute had a much tougher night against Bika than he did against Berrio. I also saw these fights about 5 times each on tv, so, if anybody is wrong, I suggest It IS YOU. Berrio as only a solid right, that's it. Bika is a tough guy that hits you with his head, elbows, shoulders, he low blows, anything to be in your face. You may watch you tapes again and come back with apologies, or you may be just plain stupid.
Bute should win this if he fights smart and stays on his bike all night and keeps pumping that jab out there. But I do not like his habit of keeping that left hand low, if he doesn`t correct that flaw in his next few fights he will pay for it at some point especially against Kessler. Also, I am not completely sold on Bute in that I think he may fold against a aggressive opponent who has the power to really hurt him. While watching the Joppy fight I remember telling myself that this guy is far too hesitant in the ring, I mean he had a dead man in front of him that night with nothing to offer and it still took him ten rounds to get him out of there. I mean every time he would corner Joppy along the ropes he would fire a few punches and then inexplicably dance back out to the center of the ring when he should have been planting his feet and blasting Joppy to the head and body along the ropes. Had he done that he could have ended matters much sooner than he did but for some reason he fought very cautiously and I think this reveals a glaring flaw in his armour. That flaw being that I don`t think Bute is a real "fighter" at heart. He doesn`t strike me as the kind of guy who will pull out all the stops if he is behind or disregard defense if the fight is on the line to try and turn the tide. Personally I don`t see Bute being any kind of long reigning champion unless they keep feeding him Joppy level opponents to defend his ttle against. Anyways, I`ll go with Bute to win a decision against the tough Mexican, but with the proviso that I wouldn`t be the least bit surprised if Andrade managed to spring the upset. And before anyone wants my head on a platter for my comments on Bute, let it be clear that I live in Montreal and have seen amost all of his fights since his career began. I never was sold on him from the beginning, and as far as I am concerned he still has a long way to go before he can be considered an "elite" fighter.
