Most likely Bute by UD. But of course AA always has a puncher's chance.

AA has presumably the best chin in boxing at this point. He is the most patient guy in the ring that I can think of at the moment. (sometimes too patient) Combine those two along with carrying his power late and I could see AA stopping bute around rd 9-11 when Bute slows down.

60/40 Bute imo. If forced to bet, Bute wins a decision, but AA can never be counted out against any SMW out there today.

Personally I think Abraham is also vulnerable to the body (seen it affect him before). Bute's left to the body is a killer. Also Abraham new to the weight against Bute who is a big SMW... hard to say

I think Bute beats him, but Abraham hits harder than Bute

That's what people used to say about Andrade... I don't think he' going to KO him but he UD him for sure. Abraham keeps his hands high while protecting himself, so he's vulnerable to the body, Bute will hit it with all he has, his hands will go down and then we will see how much punishment he can take to the head.

My pick, Bute by UD or even maybe late TKO(really not sure for the TKO thoe...)

i think abraham would more than likely catch him when hes off gaurd, incidently going to the body leaves your chin open, the fight would probably finish when arthur buzzes him and then breaks him under a barrage of punches

bute for me, but obviously AA can always land that big punch. the only thing is, if it wasn't for jermaine and his not-so-smart (but courageous) ways AA wouldn't have even KO'd him. how's he gonna KO these SMW's who are far better than Taylor i.e. Bute, Dirrell, and Ward... these are some seriously talented guys who don't gas (except Bute, but only when he's put under extreme pressure for 10 rounds).

with his chin and power, AA needs to consider become a little more of a pressure fighter. the only problem is, he doesn't seem to have very good stamina himself. i think he's gonna have A LOT of trouble with the aforementioned 3 fighters.

Based on styles, they could be a nightmare for AA. But you should watch the Taylor fight more carefully: Abraham actually landed the wide left-straight right shot multiple times during the fight, one time clearly hurting the hard chinned Taylor (he was caught by numerous hard shots when he was really tired vs Pavlik and Froch, but at 100% alert, he took their and Hopkins' shots well).

Vs. Abraham, it wasn't stamina issue, JT was still throwing punches and looked not to walk into anything in the 12th. Actually it was AA, tired himself, who took the risk, and put a lot more body weight and turn (less speed) behind the left-straight right combo, and it blasted through unfortunate JT's guard landing right on the button. It was not stamina issue. It was "AA looking for KO for fans" issue, which he admitted after the fight.

Abraham can KO any boxer in ANY weight class. He has (un)natural explosive power.

Abraham blocks body shots with his arms. Kind of like Winky Wright. And it helps that he's built like a tank. I don't think body shots will be affective. Some jabs and lots of movement will be more affective.

Excellent point Philla, agree with you 100%! I have said from day one, the only way anyone is beating AA is going to the body, hard and frequently , if anyone can do it, after last night, Bute would be the man!
The thing with Bute that I noticed yesterday is the following: for all his athletecism he posseses , he gets caught MUCH more frequently then he should. I also believe his stamina is not the best. and if I was scouting Bute for any future fights I would try to utilize the upper cut more often. There was a point in the 4th round if I am not mistaking when he got caught clearly with two uppercuts from slow punching andrade.
Anyway I would say it is a 50/50 fight that could go both ways. I can confidently say if it was AA instead Andrade in the first fight in round 12, AA would have left no doubt.

Abraham by 11th round KO. He will catch up to Bute when he gasses. Unless Bute can go to the body religiously and manage to stop AA himself.

    65/35 in favor of AA

some of you underrate abraham, nobody will ko abraham in the next 5 years. abraham is a very smart fighter, and he has very fast hand speed. his chin is good, but he doesn't need it, because he never really gets hit flush. i'm sure that abraham would knock bute out in the first 6 rounds, bute has a very suspect chin, and he is fighting very offensive and sometimes open, combine that with aa power and you have your result

I think a lot of people are overrating Bute here just because of last night. It was a good win for sure, and he proved his point...but Andrade is no AA.

    AA late TKO.
