Bute wins a close decision. But AA has more chance of knocking Bute out IMO.

Abraham via KO. The person to beat Abraham will be a fluid, quick, defense-minded boxer. Bute is good but is too stiff, and eventually I think Abraham gets to him.

I also think that targeting Abraham's body is a big mistake. He guards it very well, invites low blows and counters when guys punch low. The way to attack him is to use the jab and sidestep.

Abraham has explosive speed and power, but he has to be set. Using the jab to obscure his vision and angles to force him to reset, I think would cause him to become wild and thus very hittable.

We've seen against Abraham guys just standing in place probing the shell for openings, and eventually AA explodes out of it. I think Ward and even Dirrell (if he's focused) pose a real problem for AA in a boring fight.

Yeah i think he would, he hits hard enough to slow anyone down.

Is that why Taylor low blowed three times in that fight?

Its not easy to get to Abrahams body because of his long arms.

I agree. I think it's a tough fight to call.....they are stylistic opposites. It could make for a great fight, with Bute working Abraham hard early.....Abraham hurting Bute late ....... The questions are will Bute be able to hold off AA's late charge, weather the storm and take the win? Will AA be able win enough rounds to get a decision if he isn't able to catch Bute with the KO blow? I'd like to see this fight however it goes.

Arthur finds his chin in 8 rounds after being down on the scorecards.

How many fights did Bute have with guys who got knocked out by Raymond Joval or Kassim Ouma?

Ward had beaten a damaged Miranda and now he was going to beat Kessler? But he did...

Just because a fighter hasn't yet fought on a higher level of opposition doesn't mean that he will fail if he does so for the first time. Abraham's biggest challenged so far were making weight at 160 and fighting through a broken jaw. He beat Ikeke, Miranda (rematch) and Taylor with more ease than anyone before, there is a huge possibility that he can step up his game if he needs to.

You guys need to quit talking like Ikeke was somebody. His best win was a faded Echols. His 2nd best was Emmett "I'm really a truck driver" Linton.

AA had to fight Miranda twice to score one win. The first fight was some of the worst officiating I've ever seen.

JT is completely shot and that was obvious by the 3rd round. Number 43 ranked Lujaun Simon did better against AA than Jermain did!

I've got a complete break down of Abraham's career right here at my desk. I used to post it periodically just to **** people off. And I've watched MANY of his fights. I've studied the man, and I've seen nothing that says he can beat an elite fighter.

What does that have to do with this? I am not an AA fan....but I do think he chance against Bute....a good chance. Nor am I a Bute fan..... I'm a boxing fan and to me this would be a great fight for a boxing fan.

Abraham is one of the most over rated fighters on ESB. The guy is a KO waiting to happen. Fortunately for him Sauerland has been smart enough to match him very carefully. Think about, Jermain Taylor's corpse was the biggest challenge Arthur ever faced. Bute would hand Abraham his ass in a relatively short and one-sided fight.

As I said, I'm not a fan of either fighter, although I like both. But where is Bute's elite competition? I agree, Abraham resume is a bit weak, but I still think he can be a tough challenge.
