It doesn´t matter that Abraham fights at such a low pace, because you still have to be alert 100% all the time and burn a lot of nervous energy. Every fighter that steps into the ring with Abraham knows his reputation, has seen the tapes and the highlight reel KO´s. They have seen him leave people unconscious with single shots before they even hit the ground. There is no point of relaxation at any moment, because his next outburst could be your last. And Bute seems to be a fighter, that burns a lot of energy. Andrade also seemed to get to him in the 3rd and 4th round, but to his credit he made a stand and knocked Andrade out. That was great, but he also ate some uppercuts early in the round, that he might want to avoid against Abraham. I don´t doubt Abraham is beatable, but so is Bute or every fighter for that matter, but as long as they fight the best and give everything they deserve respect. I think Abraham would get to Bute late, but if Bute can land such a monster hook underneath it could be over earlier, but it takes a lot of guts to hit with Abraham, and these bodyshots are only that effective, if the opponent is extended and not aware. It wouldn´t have the same devastating effect, when Abraham is in his shell-defense flexing his muscles.
I didn't read your massive wall of text, but I would pick Bute. Abraham is right behind Berto in terms of being completely overrated.
Wait for AA's next fight... There you can see how he comes along with stick and move fighters... When we can have a better judgement.. AA just had 2 fights@SMW.. Bute is much more experienced at the weight and should be a favorite right now..
Abraham is a good boxer but so is Bute. It will be hard to pick 1 . You'll never know until u put the 2 guys in the ring ; And depends a lot on the strategy the 2 of them will take for the match.
Why do you think Abraham is overrated? Care to explain what you see in his style that you think is overrated? I think if ANYTHING, he is underrated. Why do you pick Bute? What has Bute done other then a controversial win over a punching bag and KO win over the same guy?
bute looks like he could outbox abraham, but as limited as king arthur seems he always finds a way to win. he has a defense similar to clottey's and keeps coming forward taking and catching shots on his gloves. i gotta say abraham by UD. He uses his pressure to walk guys down, tire them, and force them to go toe to toe with him and that's when he unleashes those bombs. bute might win the first rounds, then it's all abraham in complete control. dudes like a tank
Bute clear UD. Abraham doesn't put big pressure on.Bute would score points and get out of the way the whole night. Theere is the possibility Bute could get caught with a monster shot anywhere in the 12 rounds but I 'd pick him.
At the moment, I'd give the edge to Bute, probably by UD or SD, only because he's been in the weight for so long. Once the super 6 is finished and AA comes out on top, I think he'll be adjusted to the weight and he'll be able to beat on Bute.
Bute. Abraham's shell is great for headhunters, but Lucian's most devestating shots come to the body. By the way, write an article in here if you got that much on your mind. They'll let you.
Bute was getting tagged by Andrade,. picture something similar to Oliver McCall. But in his corner crying to stop the fight.
Uhh Arthur is great at blocking body punchers. Hes so good he gets points deducted from other fighters becuase they have to hit him on the beltline to get to the body.
