I don't care about your excuses. I could give you tons of them to explain Bute's performance against Andrade in their first fight. And I think you misunderstood. Read the post above mine. I simply answered to a post that's as stupid as mine. But the difference between me and him is that I did it on purpose. How can AA and Bute, both undefeated and SMW champions, be considered mediocre fighters? If you think Bute sucks and AA is a god, then you have no rights to tell me to GTFO.
you got a good point....but i'll still go for the KING.....given a chance he will brutally ko BUTE at any round.....
Bute has good speed and good pop and is an underrated body puncher, NO DOUBT about that. BUT, his defense will be his downfall. Gets hit WAY to easy for a high caliber fighter as himself against a power puncher like AA. His stamina, is questionable as well. I am mainly pointing out the way he looked in the later rounds against Andrade, who is NOT as accurate as AA, not as defensive as AA, not a power puncher like a AA, not a counter puncher like AA AND not does not go the body as well as AA. Presently, I have a fight that looks like BUte ANdrade 1, with AA not getting hit as much as Andrade did, and Bute tiring and openning up in the later rounds, AA catching him and putting him to sleep. AA KO Bute Round 11.
How can u be more agresive than a guy who never stops from moving forward never stops from trowing punches and keeps on hitting you even in clinches with uppercuts and hooks.Bute is technical he has a good jab he's the bigger man he has speed he has footwork, headmovement , he is a extremely cautious guy that even has power to break a perfect defense .The fact that AA needed 12rds to ko Taylor and that Bute has learned a valuable lesson and improved his stamina that leads us to the fact that u don't know if King Arthur can ko Bute and imo AA can't win a decision over Bute.:deal
Bute - as every fighter before him - will become very careful once he got hit with one of Abraham's powershots. I don't want to take anything away from him - he is very good, but I doubt he can win against the most underrated guy here on ESB. Bute won't be able to land one of his bodyshots like he did against Andrade. AA is prepared to take such shots. He works on his defense every day and knows how to protect his body. AA by KO in the later rounds...
It's funny, I don't recognize Bute in your post. 1) Bute has an excellent stamina. Yes, excellent, not good. He got a bad infection and a bad reaction to his medicaments before the first fight against Andrade. By the way, that was the only time he showed stamina problems. 2) It's not bright to compare Andrade to Abraham. Their styles are so different. Andrade charges even when he receives power punches. Nobody does that. He's the supreme pressure fighter. Abraham is not a pressure fighter. Try to think about these two points and write another post. There are good reasons to chose Abraham (even if I think Bute would win easily) but you didn't find them yet.
Abraham is better than Andrade. I wouldn't exclude the possibility of Andrade tiring him at the end of the fight though. Anyway, Bute can be better than Abraham who can be better than Andrade.
Bute would win, I think he has learned of his 12th round disaster against andrade, so he probably won't end up like Taylor, he would conserve some energy for the championship rounds to avoid getting tired and knocked out. If it's in germany though Bute will have a more difficult fight though with the massive support AA has there.
Sounds similar to what you predicted for Taylor - Abraham? Abraham can win decisions without technically outboxing an opponent. His guard is tight enough to catch most punches and once he open up to his outbursts of violence, most opponents get nervous or thrown off their gameplan. Bute would be a very tough assignement for Abraham, but it would bring out the best in him IMO.
Andrade wore Bute out. Not something I see AA doing, hence I don't see the late round heroics you envision. Bute has the reach and speed to stay out of AA's wheel house ALL 12 unless AA becomes more of a pressure fighter.
Reach has never worked well against Abraham. Taylor is faster than Bute, 6'1 and couldn't keep Abraham away, neither could the 6'4 Ikeke. Bute is a better puncher and overall better fighter than these two, but to keep Abraham from landing, a fighter would need a very defensive approach.
