Miranda has been Abraham's toughest fight, so let's compare Bute with Miranda... See what I mean? I do care for your financial future. Don't bet on boxing.
I appreciate your concern about my finances. Maybe I could give you my accountants number and you could discuss it with him. Thankfully I do not gamble, my businesses are quite adequate in providing for my lifestyle. :thumbsup So how is the economy in Canada?
Name me the three best opponents Abraham has faced, in your eyes and compare it to Bute opponents. Is there a world of difference?
Doing good if you compare it to many others countries that were more deeply touch by the crisis. Thanks for your concern.
Mont I NEVER said in any of my posts AA's opponents were better or Bute's were worse. But I have a difference in opinion as far as AA's resume. MOst posters think AA's best opponent is Miranda which I don't agree with. In my opinion it is as follows. 1. Ikeke(only because AA fought him in his 18th or 19th professional fight and Ikeke was a p4per at the time or close to it. 2.Gevor(consistently been ranked in the top 3-4 at MW for a couple of years now presently ranked 4th. 3. J Taylor(no comment) is on a downward spiral but if he beats Ward, things could get interesting. 4.MIranda x2(controversial first win left no doubts in the rematch) Bute's best opponents in my opinion on his resume. 1.Librado Andrade x2(controversial win but left no doubts in the rematch) 2.Sakio Bika(presently ranked 5th SMW) 3.Berio 4.ZUngia To answer your question NO there is NO WORLD OF DIFFERENCE.
You have to be punch drunk if you think Ikeke wa sa p4per or anything close to it. Sorry,it's the truth.
I wasn't going to comment on that, but since you brought it up... He didn't know how to use his height against Abraham. He crouched down to get to AA's level. Doesn't take much to figure out what that does to your stance, etc....
Glad to hear you don't bet on boxing. I don't either! As for the Canadian economy, it's going quite good thanks. Canada is one of the countries who suffered the less of the recession, especilly the province of Quebec, which is the one where boxing is the most popular.
Calzaghe proved better than kessler. Kessler proved much better than andrade. Bute a little better than andrade. Abraham better than bute. i can see abraham stopping bute late while behind on points just like andrade did in their first fight and abraham and froch did against taylor (which hopkins could not do in 2 attempts.) abraham will win the super6. froch will come as the 2nd. kessler can still be the 3rd. overrated hype job that he is.
Even if I try, I cannot imagine Froch being second. He's lucky to have a W beside his fight against Dirrell, the greenest fighter of the tournament. I see Froch 4th.
Agreed. However: Abraham has won his fights so far with doing very, very little. Pavlik and Froch had to fight their heart out to beat Taylor, Abraham did it with a 3 - 4 combinations each round from round 4 on. Some call that low workrate, not bringing pressure etc. To me, Abraham's minimalistic way of winning fights shows an unusual degree of confidence and control. He knows that opponents can't hurt him. When he opens up in the middle rounds, opponents feel that he can hurt them and their winning the early rounds was more due to Abraham waiting than anything they did. I think the worst that can happen to Abraham is an opponent like Dirrell in the Froch fight. He doesn't have the footwork to chase a defensive fighter. If I tried to create a gameplan to beat Abraham, it would look a lot like SRL against Hagler. However, someone who really comes to fight, like Bute undoubtly would and who doesn't have a Hopkins/Hagler/Calzaghecombination of iron chin, skills or speed will be broken by Abraham's combination of guard, chin and power.
