Lucian Bute vs. Edison Miranda

is it official yet?

 

Bute KO9....I think it will be competitive early but Edison gets knocked after 9 rounds.....which would land him a spot on Rico's monthly glass jaw rankings

 

Oh man... I was dreading a poll like this. I already know we are gonna see a 90-95% vote for Bute. OK, well you know who the 1 vote for Miranda is.

OK not really but I can't bring myself to root against him when he fights...

I voted Bute because I respect his talent... he's undefeated*, in his prime, fighting at home...[and I'm Canadian so I got no choice]

... and Miranda has a history of coming up short in his big fights.

BUT, I gotta admit this fight makes me nervous. I have a wierd feeling your boy might knock Lucien out cold if he gets his chance. :admin

i can't/won't root against edison...but bute just stopped andrade. lord i would love to see miranda pull it out but i just can't see it happening. but what a chance this would be for edison....

pains me to say it and i'll be rooting agaisnt such an outcome...but bute ko/tko 8-10. 80ish% ko ratio and he's also stopped zuniga.

 

I think Miranda might cause Bute some trouble for a few rounds.

Bute will eventually get into his groove and dominate Miranda before stopping him late.

I think the fight will look like a replay of like Bute-Berrio.

 

I actually hope Miranda wins. He deserves to win one of the big fights.
