GJ is a warrior to the fullest. A standup guy inside and out of the ring. But he'll never be a worldbeater, and his time is past for improvement.

Like BHOP it is incredible that he is still able to compete at this level(Froch), but Bute is a different kindof animal than the likes of Pascal and Froch.

We've only seen GJ stopped once, vs BHOP, and that was lightyears ago and not because BHOP hurt him so bad, but becuz Gj just couldn't keep up with the speedy Hopkins.

This fight will likely end GJ's run at contention. Not because he'll be shot afterwards, but rather because he'll be KOd. Having never been KOd in almost 70 fights and then suddenly being KTFO will be so disheartening to the Orad Warrior that in all likelyhood he will simply call it quits. I just hope he gets paid enough to last him into his golden years, which for him, are right around the corner.:verysad

I can see Bute landing those nice body shots breaking down the older fighter. Bute UD

Froch may be delusional about beating Ward but he didnt even extend himself too much to beat Johnson. Froch is on a level above Johnson, who is a good fighter nonetheless.

Bute will win fairly easily, like Froch did.

Bute UD. It will be interesting to see Bute finally fighting someone who can make him uncomfortable in there, though.

If Bute works the body enough, I think he can knock out Glen. More likely going to be a points win for Lucian, though.

Johnson is a warrior, but he's a 42 year old warrior, and he's fighting in Bute's backyard. I can't see him getting a decision. Even if Bute throws with decent volume and catches Johnson's gloves every time, he'll still get the nod from the judges. More likely I see a body shot stopping the fight. But I would never count Johnson out of any fight.

You have to go with Bute here. This fight should make for great battle, but the old war horse is going to get out-boxed. It will be interesting though as a barometer to compare Bute's performance with Froch's.

There's a slight possibility of a Ko. Bute has an idea of how Johnson fights, and will read him faster and better.

Bute should be able to outbox and finally KO old Johnson. It will be interesting how he will cope with the constant pressure though; history showed us that he likes being pressured.

I think Bute might stop him late. He'll catch Johnson coming in all night long with that upper cut.

Johnson is aging. He won't beat Bute now, but will pressure him. Bute UD ( 9-3 )
