    BS!!

Any respectful opponent knows the best way to end a one sided fight is by rapid KO which causes less damage than a sustained beating.
Bute couldn't KO the old dude, and believe me, he tried.

Froch would beat Bute easily, and Dirrel would massacre him as, if Bute steps up, you will soon see.

Explain the times he let Johnson off the hook then and didn't press the attack with the clear advantage then. :blood

Lucian Bute injured his left hand in the 9th round he said for the Romanian TV thats why he didnt push for the KO.

    Bute is a joke!!!

Now we see why he took the fight with Johnson rather than step it up.

Johnson has always been a good journeyman, and always comes to fight. But the truth is, Johnson has always been B level at best. He's never been a very accurate puncher like Dirrell or Ward.

Bute looked bad and only came on when the aged Johnson started running out of gas.
A fighter like Direll would have been hitting Bute with jabs and straight rights all night.
I'm very interested in seeing who Bute targets now off of this lackadaisical, meaningless win. What a dismal performance.

Hopefully, he finally stops facing bums and old men, gets some guts and fights at Tier 1.

Maybe thats a good thing if he would have ko'd Johnson he would have been even more avoided.Ward's trainer already stated they dont want to fight Bute.
My opinion is that Bute also wanted to leave Johnson's dignity intact before he retires.

My opinion is that Bute never once came even remotely close to stopping Glen Johnson.

Bute can seriously outclass Froch and can stop him too. If the haters cannot see that Bute possesses much better skills ( he is faster, has more variety of punches, and better defence) than Froch, than you are beyond ingorant in boxing terms. All Froch has on Bute is a bit more ego, perhaps a better chin, that is all.

    As you predicted?

Please explain how you can predict when a fighter is gonna turn old overnight? Unless you want to prepare excuses to continue hating on a fighter...

BTW, can you tell me exactly when Hopkins, Martinez or Mayweather are gonna get old?

Anyway, you think Bte is **** but spend most of your time on these forums in threads talking about Bute. You really don't have an enjoyable life to spend it like that.

Let's make a deal. You stop posting in Bute related threads until he loses. According to you, it won't be long, and you can tell everybody "I told you so" when it does happen. Until then, get out.

... Johnson was the third option, Kessler and Pavlik refused.

 How, the hell did some of you give Johnson 3, 4, even 5 rounds? Johnson won, at the most 2 or 3 rounds. Even that's a stretch.

    Yeah, right.
Bute has more excuses then Bernard Madoff. :yep
Excuses for why he missed the S6
    Excuses for not fighting Kessler
    Excuses for not fighting Pavlik
    Excuses for not fighting Dirrell
    Excuses for not fighting Quilian
The boy got 3 excuse for every day of the week.

    Thank you! :good

We're of one mind about 95% of the time...round 12 of Burns-Katsidis earlier today was one of our few divergences in recent memory...but we're right back in sync here. :yep
