im really surprised the fight wasnt stopped esp given the mago incident even though that was in new york. i thought they would be taking every precaution. i realise that the mago injuries were way different and caused by successive blows to the head but you get what im saying.
Kudos to Takem for being a sportsman but that was very very stupid of Perez to just stand there unprotected while trying to access his cut.

Takam is leaning back with his arms wrapped around his sides, twisting himself to his right, loading up right hands and pounding a few over the side of Perez's left ear before shrimping up again defensively. 10-9 Perez, close 40-36 Perez
ya for sure...but i know tons of ppl, like ward, or bhop, stevenson, kovalev, that naturally would have taken advantage...takam didnt, shows good sportsmanship and a friendly attitude... perez on the other hand looks to be shaken since his last fight
To be fair this the way Perez fought in many many fights previous to the Mago fight. This is why he'll never be a star, he sleep walks fights just doing enough.
