    Perez is backed up to the ropes by Takam's left backhanded jab, reaching out with right jabs and then cuffing right hooks across the back of the neck as Takam leans down on him throwing uppercuts to the body. Takam is rocking Perez's head around with uppercuts in the pocket. Takam splits Perez's guard with a letter-opener right hand. More uppercuts inside by Takam. Perez lands a right hook and left hand while leaning forward, head down.

    Perez isn't that fighter I saw go to war with Mago. He seems lethargic and gun shy, and yes he has been lazy in past fights. But not like this, this is like he can't throw punches with any zip on them - because he DOESN'T want to hurt the other guy.

    People forget that Perez took a lot of huge shots in that fight too. The kind that would take a lot out of any fighter.
