Does Talepe remind anyone else of Pac just a bit? His style, his movement, etc?

Ugh. Duke McKenzie and this other tool are constantly whining about the (deserved) warnings against Talape rather than call the action.

I think these guys have some weird perverted obsession with Filipinos. Maybe they should just **** off and find some ladyboys and let us enjoy the fights in silence.

He and the judges in the Cote fight probably didn't read sp550i's "there's no such thing as an even round - idiots!" thread :yep

Simion can't miss with the right hand.

    Round 4

Simion is throwing good combos with the right hand and left hook, and then covering up as Talape jumps in to take his turn with quick body flurries. Simion was affected by a shot, and appeals to the referee as if it were below the belt (hard to see). Talape is coming forward, rolling to slip shots and pecking with his right jab and left cross. Simion is eating jabs and unable to land much. Uppercut flurry by Simion but doesn't land cleanly. Talape finishes with a right hook at the bell.

    10-9 Talape

    39-37 Simion

Talape's best round imo. I feel he outlanded Simion and that one, and it looked like he hurt Simion with a legal body shot, though I'd like to see the replay.
    10-9 Talape

    39-37 Simion

    Open scoring.

Simion is ahead on all the cards. It sounds like none of the judges even gave Talape the 4th.

This commentator is an IDIOT!! :patsch

He's never even heard of open scoring. Is this his first rodeo? Does he even follow boxing???

He is whining (literally, whining like a baby) about what a strange thing it is to do in the middle of a match, letting the crowd and corners know who the judges have up.

Pac vs Mickey Ward is probably going to be better than the main event by leaps and bounds.

    Round 5

Simion is bouncing back, working his nice jab out of the guard and scoring with right crosses to the body. Nice looping right around the gloves by Simion. Hooking combo by Simion. Talape is back in full-on defensive mode and not braving his little duck-down shoeshine move. Just soft jabs on the back foot. Now a blocked right hook. Simion isn't giving Talape anything. BIG COMBO BY SIMION, BASHING TALAPE ON THE ROPES!! Jun Talape is hurt badly by a right hand!! Saved by the bell.

    10-9 Simion

    49-46 Simion
