I'm ambivalent, but can see the arguments against it. (ie, it leading to DLH-Trinidad situations)

 

Simion seems to be getting better and better. No worries about his gas tank so far. He seems to be one of those "slow starter/strong finisher" types, even though he swept the first few rounds.

 

Round 6

Simion is controlling range with his jab and popping that stiff right out of his still-tight guard. Talape is reduced to a few whipping underhands to the body from long range. Simion walks him down and jabs him in the quickly-moving head. Point is deducted from Talape for leading with his head. The stupid ****ing British commentator is throwing a tantrum. It was a DESERVED DEDUCTION. He had several warnings.

Round 7

Simion is throwing some sharp jabs out of a low-left stance. Talape is rocked back against the ropes by a right hand. Some little girl with an ugly birthmark on her cheek is sitting ringside and screeching, and for some reason they keep cutting to the camera on her instead of the action. :blood Simion blocks some soft right jabs and a left uppercut and keeps pressuring Talape calmly. Nice left hook to the body by Simion. 1-2!!! Talape hurt!!! Talape on the ropes!!! BIG FLURRY!!!! Simion lands several head shots but smothers himself, leaning against Talape into the ropes. The ref calls for a break. Talape now comes on, spearing lead lefts at Simion. 1-2 by Simion is blocked but rocks Talape. Brave stand being taken by Talape, slugging it out.
