Round 2 Cote is stretching out with his base firmly planted and knees bent, reaching across with double jabs. Good right hand by Cote. Navarrete mostly spoils, dancing around Cote and hovering his guard around to intercept the long shots high and low with plenty of time to see them coming. He is picking his spots and actually lands a nice counter right hand of his own as they're quickly circling. Cote is the one starting most of the exchanges, and doing most of the landing (and mostly with his right to the body). 20-18 Cote
??? Only reason for that comment must be that IntentionalButt looks like that :good Dude.. how does he look good? He has no forehead.. looks a bit like a chimpansee or that Makak ****** who took its own picture recently. He just looks like an average indigenous south-american. He is not ugly... but anything special he certainly is not.
Round 3 Cote suddenly quickens his pace, pushing Navarrete to the ropes and pecking away with long right hands behind the jab. Navarrete maneuvers out to the middle of the ring and gets back into the mellow circling rhythm he prefers. Cote keeps fencing with those piercing left-right combos. Navarrete starts to lean in, driving his shoulder into Cote and turning his chin askew. Cote tries to work a few uppercuts in the clinch. They each get grasped around the small of the back and hoisted about like skinny little Sumo wrestlers. 30-27 Cote
3-0 Cote, best round of the fight this far. Cote turned the speed up and Pedro put up a little of resistance himself
The eyes, Joe. THE EYES!! Also, he has very similar facial structure to Maravilla. :yep Do you think Maravilla looks like a chimp? OK...actually he kind of does...:!:
Round 4 Cote is throwing fervent combos now, whipping out jabs and right hands. He's missing a lot and getting slap-parried but forcing Navarrete to retreat in haste. Cote is warned for shoving Navarrete to the ground, just overpowering him in a clinch (third time he's done it before being warned; next time will probably be a deduction). More clinching. Navarrete is actually leaning in to start them, seeing that Cote is getting more aggressive and bloodthirsty and wanting no part of a war. 40-36
