On Dinu: I don't know. I don't think it's time to cheer on a heavyweight notable for such ill repute.
What an ignorant statement by the Primetime commentators. "You don't find many poor Filipinos, do you?" "No, they're all very very strong". Way to generalize! atsch
Sure... first it's just shop lifting.... then it's something like stealing pies cooling on windowsills. I just don't think there's room to be made for a guy like this.
Simeon's round in my book, just let go a few good flurries as was the effective aggressor. 10-9 Simeon
Round 1 Talape is leaning back and throwing high right jabs and lead lefts to the body while ducking down and bouncing up as he moves backward. Simion is flurrying in low as he creeps on. Head clash. Talape is springing up and down at the knees very frequently, partially responsible for the heads coming together. Simion looks to catch him bouncing and lands a good left hook pushing Talape to the ropes. Talape seems to lack power, his jabs limply flapping against Simion's chest and the lefts to the body not slowing him at all. Talape is completely unable to get Simion's respect no matter what he lands and is looking very weak in the pocket exchanges. Simion might have had him in trouble up to this point if he weren't so sloppy. 10-9 Simion
Talape isn't the guy to do it. :verysad He also disproves the commentators' dumb stereotypical belief that all boxers from the Philippines are very good & strong. (as though they all share DNA with Pacquiao or something)
