Who wins the rematch, let's say on an HBO PPV undercard or a HBO WCB main event, Golden Boy as promoter, US, let's say Mandalay Bay as the event.

I think I would still go for Bute to win a decision, but it is dependent on the ref in some ways. I think he struggles with the pace Andrade sets if a ref will not allow to hold consistently.

Bute knows what he's in for, and could perhaps iron out the mistakes. Though Andrade now knows he can hurt him on several occasions and would be even more dangerous.

Depends on how much holding happens and whether Bute can make weight easily.

Let's say Smoger is the ref. Doesn't like holding, but he's not always on the fighters' ass unlike some colleagues. Fair and unbiased ref.

Smoger's #1 in my book, much respected ref. :thumbsup

And I go with Bute, IF a rematch actually takes place.

Bute should win it. Andrade has only one gear and last night was his best chance if ever to win. Now that Bute has shared a ring with him he'll have more to study and prepare for.

Bute has to stop holding inside though and dip low and to the left so he can come back in with a sharp left under Andrade's guard. Andrade was able to avoid a lot of lefts by just staying inside of them. They were telegraphed badly at times, either landing high on the head or over the shoulder. A short left under the guard would catch Andrade on his way in and probably knock him down if not stop him. Not the uppercut Bute was throwing last night but a full fledged straight left.

The ref was clearly against Andrade all night, Bute was holding for no reason from about the 2nd round on, in addition Andrade was warned for headbutts that were not intentional and infact it was also Bute who lead with his head.
Also there were two other times in the late rounds in which Andrade had Bute hurt and the ref pushed Andrade back and took time to warn him, Andrade and his people should appeal this decision, the ref clearly didnt do his ****ing job.

They need to allow a ref that will NOT PROTECT BUTE and allow Andrade to fight.

I think it was a fight both of them left with tons of experience. Both can make adjustments for a second one. Bute has to conserve his energy a bit more, be more alert to Andrade's body punches. Since he's quick and gave some really nice angles to Librado, and also was able to grab him and distract his aggression, maybe he sould try using the ropes like Roy in his prime days. Dangerous tactic, but good to conserve energy.

Andrade should realize that he needs to put combinations together to apply a lot more pressure. It's clear that he's got stamina and power advantage. He has to be on Lucian's ass all night, especially giving body-head combos to slow him down and take the energy out of him. No head-hunt for 6 rounds. A bit more movement needed, but I don't think he can improve on the defensive side.

Sparring could be the key. Bute has to get very aggressive sparring partners and practice fighting backwards, throw more jabs, fight on the ropes, breaking the opponents rhythm and balance, throwing lead shots to the fighter coming in. Andrade needs to learn how to fight out of clinches with (body) punches, cut the ring more effectively and land the key shots vs. southpaws, not just trying to tear his head off... controlled aggression!

IMO the first 6 rounds would be irrevelant in this fight, both fighters have to do their job to be in the better position in the 2nd half. But last few rounds will be the decider. Who will controll the fight then? Can Bute simply keep his game together, or a busier Andrade will break him down?

We need a REMATCH to find that out! Hopefully the media response, the controversy, the money in it (16000+ at attandace, GBP involved) and the dramatic fight itself will convince Showtime to pick it up again... hell... we're getting Holt-Torres III after all...
