I have said for a very long time that Andrade has the stylistic advantage. However, it seems that Grant wants to turn Andrade into a boxer. And if this happens then he will lose on points, as Bute is technically the better boxer, and will probably always be. If Andrade just stays Andrade he will knock Bute out again.

    Andrade might KO him sooner.

I don't think the rematch will ever happen. But if it does I favor Andrade.

I don't understand why Bute did not go at all to the body. It's his best asset. I assume his coach saw something and asked Lucian not to go to the body. I think Bute should try to improve his inside game. I think the inactivity was bad for him. he's used to fight at least 3 times a year. his last fight is Joppy, 8 months ago. Anyway, he should save a little his energies for the end. Bute is a versatile boxer, who can adjust better than Andrade. So, the second fight should be easier for him, if the knock down hasn't altered his confidence.

Bute would intelligently school Andrade's limited ass over 12 rounds...in the US, China or the moon !

I give Bute a ton of credit in winning the first fight and getting of the canvas. He dominated the entire fight up to the end.

But, Andrade knows what he needs to do and will come out quick and early to win the rematch.

If it happens, I would have to say Andrade by KO.

But I dont think it will happen. At least I dont think Bute should let it happen!

I think he didn't go to the body for a couple of reasons. He was trying to keep the fight on the outside, box using his jab from a distance and target his left as a one-off hit. He didn't throw that many combinations either, to stay on the outside. Andrade was protecting his body with his long arms most of the time. To go to the body, Bute would have had to get closer to him, but Bute didn't have an inside game and Andrade was very good at it, so it wasn't worth it. As soon as Bute was too close to Andrade, he clinched to avoid the inside fight; he couldn't clinch, release and hit, like Hatton sometimes does because Andrade would have roughed him up even more after the release.

Today Stephan Larouche and Lucian Bute were on the radio and Stephan said that he has a lot of things to reveal about the fight (glove controversy, etc), but he can't reveal them right now. He said that he noticed that Andrade's cup protector was almost 4 inches (belt size) too high and protecting well his liver so he told Bute to not go to the body that much. Bute also said that he wants the rematch because he wants to show to everyone that he is the champion and he was already training the day after the fight. First by contract they have to make a title defense against a Sauerland fighter and after they will probably fight Andrade.

Bute is pure class if he gives Andrade a rematch!

How did Saurland pull off to get Lucian under contract for a fight?

Last year Bute was to fight Berrio for his IBF title. They wanted the fight in Montreal so they said if Bute wins he will defend the title against a Sauerland fighter soon(Berrio is with Sauerland). The Larsen fight should have happened in may only Bute was injured.Probably february or march now but it ain't signed
