I expect Bute to take it, and quite clear also.
I voted Bute by decision, and I expect a wide one where Kessler has to pick himself up from the floor once or twice.

Really want to see this fight if it really happens (where ever it's held), but I hope it's on neutral ground.

Kessler is going to walk face/body first into a wood chipper named Lucian Bute.

Then most will still claim SOB Ward is far superior and Kessler has fought nobody.

    Rinse and repeat...

I too am surprised no one uses that body uppercut quite like he does either. I have seen fighters Mayweather use pretty damn mean looking body uppercuts, but never used them as a money punch like Bute does.

I agree too that IF Kessler fully utilizes his jab, it could make for a different fight than most are predicting.

But it seems as of Kessler's last few fights, he just doesn't use his jab like he used to , and if he abandons it at any time in a fight agaisnt Bute, that it will ultimately lose him the fight.

Bute proves hes the fresher fighter and wins an 8-4 decision.

I'm not sure about KO or UD, but Kessler wins it. He has his elbows down by his body when he comes forward, so Bute won't be able to land the body shots easily. Kessler has a better chin than Kessler. Bute has better head movement, but Kessler throws punches in bunches, and Bute can't avoid all of them.

If Kessler is 100%, I think he can beat Bute. But I have a feeling he won't be, so I must go with Bute.

I think Bute will get the decision. I think Kessler is tough enough and good enough not to get KO'd though.

We're looking at the Kessler from the Ward fight, here. Kessler has been in too many wars. :think

...anyhow, Bute TKO 9. Kessler WILL tag him however. Chincheckers better be ready for this one, cause it's a case of All in for Bute. If Kessler's jab & timing are up to snuff, he'll test Bute's beard all night i.e. could very well result in a decisive 9-3 Kessler UD. I'd rather put my money on an aggressive Kessler walking into left hooks / uppercuts. Kessler is a warrior, and props to him for taking this fight at this stage of his career, but he might even go down a couple times before the 9th round stoppage. The man lost his edge... the Kessler from the Andrade fight would have smoked Froch IMO.

    FOTY candidate either way.
