Very few British fans who know what they're talking about think that Froch could beat Calzaghe...yet, quite a few overrate the former...true!

"Boo-teh", with the stress on the first sylable:), is more likely to fight the top dogs, if they'll have him, then anyone else good in the division.

Berrio is the first to have ducked him. Granted, he was never a top dog. Let's see if the up and comers duck him too now: Inkin/Froch/Lacy.

Mundine? I guess technically he's a top dog, although there's really only two...and I don't mean Taylor or Pavlik...

    Berrio Bout Not Confirmed!
    by Andre Courtemanche
Willy Gonzalez, manager of IBF Super Middleweight Champion Alejandro Berrio (26-4, 25 KOs), says that reports of a scheduled September bout between his fighter and Germany’s Danilo Haussler are, at this point, premature. “It’s not true,” asserts Gonzalez. “I’m the manager and we still have issues to resolve that we are working out with Sauerland. That fight isn’t scheduled right now. We didn’t sign anything. We don’t know who put this information out, but it wasn’t us.” According to Gonzalez, the fight with Haussler, Berrio’s first defense since winning the belt in March, may happen but it is far from confirmed at the moment.

SAUERLAND DENIES INTERNET REPORT OF BERRIO-HAUSSLER

A published report on a competing website stated yesterday that Alejandro Berrio will be defending his IBF 168-pound title against Danilo Haussler on a Sauerland Event show in September. According to Sauerland Event, the German promotional company, the report is incorrect and did not originate from anyone associated with Sauerland Event. As far as the company is aware, the IBF has instructed Berrio to begin negotiations with manadatory contender Lucien Bute of Canada. source: sauerland event

Don't worry, mate, if Bute is hungry, it's not because he cannot afford to eat properly!

When Berrio eventually loses his belt to Bute, I'd love to see him fight Miranda. THAT would be an all-Colombian all-action fight.

Lacy's handlers have done enough damage so far...they should definately stay away from top 30 for the next year especially a southpaw like Bute

    I agree.

Currently Mundine sits firmly in the 3. spot in SMW and Bute should definitely target that spot.

Apart from that it would be a hugely interesting fight.
