Just for fun, Froch is now two time champion, each time it was for a vacant belt and each time it was by UD. This is how Bute earn his belt This content is protected Fact...:nut
Agreed. However he's done sweet ****all at 168, just to put things in perspective. The Jean Pascal you saw vs Dawson wasn't the same one who blindly chose to go to war vs Froch. His footwork improved considerably since the Froch fight. "Obviously the fighter who beat them has obviously acheived more" - seems very, very obvious to you, but sounds like a voided 'the man who beat the man who beat the man who beat the man who beat the man' statement to me. Because you say so?! And that being said, you have no problem admitting that Bute is better even though Froch has achieved more?!??? How people rate/rank fighters should be based on a personal combination of resume & H2H assessments. Ask The Ring's editor. Sure, can't wait to see that either. Froch - fighting a world champ - check, lost a fairly close one to Kessler Froch - fighting away - check, good to go Bute - fighting a world champ - TBD when he faces the S6 winner, or even Stieglitz Bute - fighting away - TBD, when a promoter will put enough money on the table for attendance to surpass the Bell Centre (Bute draws 16 000+, could do 22 000 @ Bell Centre) Ward - fighting a world champ - check, outboxed Kessler Ward - fighting away - TBD, will see how many warnings he gets for the headbutts (accidental or not)
Your ignorance astonishes me. Maybe if you had followed boxing prior to last year, you would write less false statements and look less dumb. Of all the former champions Froch has faced: Robin Redi: as shot as William Joppy. You are a fool if you think he was in his prime. Jermaine Taylor: a shot MW champion. Arthur Abraham: a protected MW champion. Mikkell Kessler who could not see well: an actual champion, and an actual loss. Bute has won his title by facing a champion (Berrio). He also defeated, at his 8th pro fight, Dingaan Thobela, a former SMW world champion. That makes 3 actual or former champions. :hi:
Since Bute is number 1 or 2 for 3 years, YOU have to explain why he should not be a top 3 today. For that, you'd have to know the past of the division. You obviously don't.
Damn you got hard-on for Bute.....no one is saying he is **** but he has'nt beaten anyone world class yet.Its impossible to judge where he is at world level until he fights someone at world level. He may well KO all the super6 guys but until he fights some of them we don't know. :huh
I am sure this time next year, the picture will be much clearer, an see i bute with that #1 spot, i sure he will be fighting one of the top guys in next couple of fights. Froch has yet to fight a guy with bute combination of boxing skills, power an speed.
The only fighters at SMW that could give Bute a hard time is Sergio Martinez, Andre Dirrell, and Andre Ward. Skills bitches. They pay bills.
