Lucian Bute... WOW

I was rooting for Andrade, but damn never would have guessed it to end that way. Lucian Bute deserves all acolades for that performance.

 

It was the most original KO of the year. Left uppercut to the body.

 

He put Andrade 2 times on the Ground! once to the head and then the devastating bodyshot!

 

all i can say is

"BODYSHOT BODYSHOT BODYSHOT OOOOHHH LIBRADO......."

 

Bute is # 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

cant wait to finish work today and get home and watch the fight.

 

I was expecting a longer match. Super performance by Bute.

 

Such a short punch by Bute. Ward would have a very difficult time landing his head but on Bute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bute by knockout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But Ward only fights within his home town.

 

The short left right on the jaw was nice, but slipping to the left and landing that picture perfect body shot was beautiful. Hopefully Bute stays active and finds some good competition to keep him warm for the Super Six winner.

 

Well, not quite...

Sam Langford, George Dixon, Jimmy McLarnin, Mysterious Billy Smith, Lou Brouillaird, and Tommy Burns are all in the IBHOF and were all Canadian. Still, Lewis does get a lot of respect up here for his accomplishments, and rightfully so.
