IMO Bute is a damn good fighter with power in his left...He can box with the best of them IMO...I wanna see him a little bit more myself...I like how he boxes from the outside with his jab and powerful left hand!

    DAMN GOOD FIGHTER!:good

slick, hard hitting, fast hands, fast feet. questionable chin and stamina. works the ladder well and sticks to his gameplan.

in canada, we've been force fed bute for 6 years or so....

Good physical stuff, besides a so-so chin and stamina. Great body punching. Fast feet hands, and solid boxing style for a puncher. Needs to step up in comp though.

Bute has good boxing skills, moves well, and knocks out guys who are about as close to un-knock-out-able as fighters get.

    questionable stamina and chin ...

stamina: look at all Bute fight except the end of first fight against Andrade ( he had anemia and other)

Chin: Well, he got hit agaisnt Berrio and recently Miranda...no stunning at all

no perfect but he is not chinny and his stamina is'nt a problem...really!!!

He is a master at forcing fighters to fight at the distance he wants to fight at. He controls distance absurdly well...

    Other than that...

Good timing, good chin, good stamina, good power, good speed (hand and foot). Not great at anything, but good at everything.

This sums it up pretty well. He's truly great at finding his range and making the most of openings and the other boxers' mistakes.

Elite?? He hasn't beaten anyone close to elite so far. And he's scared to death to fight outside of the Bell Centre where he won't have his bought judges and refs. Bute's a pretender, nothing more.

Decent fighter, I think he gets beat by either Dirrel or Ward though.

You're a fool to believe that. If it was up to Bute, he'd be in the super 6 but they left him out to save money since he was an under exposed fighter. As for the Bell Center, there is a tremendous amount of pressure to keep most of his fights there, because of the large draw, attempt to breathe life back into Canadian boxing, not to mention the amazing atmoshpere at the Bell Center. As soon as the super 6 is over, Bute will get his fare share of "elite" challangers and I believe he will beat most of them.

Possibly, but he might beat either of them as well. Dirrell and Ward are the only guys who have a shot to beat him though.

Bute beats the crap outta Froch, outboxes AA, and beats Kessler because Mikkel is on the downside.

well he doesn't really have anyone to fight apart from Stieglitz or wait to see who is knocked out of the Super 6.

Hopefully a fight between him and Froch is up next.
