Lucian Bute's haters ....

They hate Bute because SOB Ward is running from him. SOB refused to allow Bute to fight in his personal tournament. Ward was the only boxer who did not have to travel! Why?

 

My opinion:

1.Bute is second best 168 now without any doubt.This is aknowledged by The Ring, fightnews and Dan Rafael rankings in the same time.This site, however put him on 4th and they have their right to an opinion but they are CLEAR in minority.


2.All last yahoo boxing rankings have Bute in top 10 p4p, where Ward is rated higher, but, pay attention on the same position as The Ring has him, the 5th.If we put this site Ward ranking and The Ring and other`s rankings together we see the obvious:This site only (along with some who post here) are stubbornly placing Kessler and Froch ahead of Bute.Puting Bute in top 10 p4p is not even in discusion for them.

Let`s remember yahoo boxing p4p ranking is a compiled one from the opinions of douzins of respected sport jurnalists all over the world, especially northamericans.


3.The quasi-general opinion that Bute didn`t fight big names is real but saying he didn`t fight anyone is clearely exagerated.How can you stay over four years champion and fight noone important?So Andrade was good for Kessler but not for him, Bika and Miranda was good for Ward, and Johnson was good for Froch.

Conclusion:

Bute is an undefeated champion who will almost sure beat Froch and Kessler and THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD DEFEAT WARD from 168 and 175 put together.It`s obvious why some don`t stand him.

 

How the hell can you conclude that?

 

If Lucian Bute beats Carl Froch, he will prove himself as a true SMW champion. Until then, the weak opposition statement stands firmly. I like Bute though and I find him to be way better than he's given credit for. I reckon that the truth about Bute is somewere between what his fans say and what his haters say.

Also because Bute wins the most money at SMW by far. Bute won 2-3 times as much as Ward for beating Maggee than Ward beating Froch. It's not his fault that these US boxers don't have fan pleasing styles. I mean look at Hopkins, Dawson, Dirrel, Ward, they can't draw ****.

 

I respect your posting, but let me get it straight:in the first Andrade fight, Bute was almost KO-ed by a not in his prime fighter?

In my opinion Andrade finished his prime the earliest after he was KO-ed by Bute.But MAYBE HE IS STILL IN HIS PRIME.If you`re beat by some fighters you`re not neccesarily cause you`re out of gas. Arguments:beating Tsypko who is a decent fighter.

 

Just like Jeff Lacy had all the tools to beat Calzaghe :yep

I actually like Bute and I think he is a great fighter, but some of his fans are just plain annoying...

 

It is always harder to beat an undefeated boxer like Kessler did in the fight against Andrade.

you simply don't think you can be beaten when you have a perfekt record!

Kessler has mentioned that a hundred times when people ask: why did you fight Joe Calzaghe 14 days after your hand injurie.

that's why Kessler predicted tough nights before the fights against Andrade, Froch and Sartison...

Andrede took a beating that must have made him a weaker opponent against Bute.

 

Kessler make the more money , then Bute and close behind Bute you have Froch
