In order to beat Kessler I feel you need to nulify his jab and work him on the inside landing quick combinations, moving in and out of distance with good movement both footwork and upper body to avoid the jab and move inside and fair quick combinations.

I don't think Bute has the ability to get past Kessler's jab with footwork and head movement and outwork him on the inside. Still then it will be a close fight.

Kessler UD Bute 116-112. I think it would be close but Kessler takes the win.

As for Froch, the guys too slow and lacks boxing ability and keeps his hands down. He's not going to KO Kessler, and he sure as hell isn't going to outbox him. Kessler could snap the jab all night long with ease. Kessler UD Froch 118-110 at least.

Would you rank Jones higher p4p currently than Kessler?

And who do you think beats Bute?

I suppose Carl could take a round or two if he bothered to utilize a jab when setting up his offense. He does have unusually long arms, which are completely wasted. If he used a jab to attempt to land shots in an educated way instead of winging punches he might not get countered every time and thus lose every round.

Still, he's too slow. Slower than Andrade even, and much lazier, and given he couldn't take a round its hard to see where they are coming from.

Luckily he has more of a chance with vulnerable guys like Taylor or Pavlik.

He probably would beat SRL and Hearns. At 168 of course.

These guys are way overrated up at 168. They were peak welterweights, competitive up at middle and beyond because they were that good, but against a big skilled guy like Kessler its not a forgone conclusion they win.

Okay, now you are going too far.

Although he beats Incredible Hulk by "reality", by virtue of him existing.

Kessler didn't want to fight Miranda because he had already been owned by Pavlik and Abraham - both smaller guys than Kessler

The hype surrounding Miranda was daft - hopefully now it will disappear. He is entertaining, but not worth the hype.

Miranda does not even qualify as entertaining in my book. It is like watching a drunk at the local bar fighting over who is on the pool table. There is no precision.

Abraham dealt with him in the perfect way. Nice tight defence, tire him out, counter his wild looking ass and break his glass chin all over Florida. They probably heard it smash in Colombia.
