Nope had no idea thanks for the info, any idea why? My guess is something to do with Dennis Inkin pulling out. Just for the record I think Kessler did go to the body of Froch a lot in the early rounds of the Froch fight but he took the shots well.
You can't even give me a ballpark?! First 3, last 3, I dunno.. something!! Say he did, and yeah I might rewatch the fight tonight, it doesn't take away the fact that Bute's body punching has proven to be very effective. As much as Carl can have a good chin, Bute can pop. Don't embrace one & dismiss the other, makes you extremely biased. I stated my reasons why I see a chance for a late Bute stoppage, yet you seem to fundamentally reject the notion that it's a possibility. I don't feel the need to explain myself any further. You'll never find a post where I discredit Froch's toughness, and you'll never find a post where I predict an easy KO for Bute. Have a good night in no-boxing land. :bbb
His best win is the title eliminator against Sakio Bika. The fight was closer than the judges had it, imo. Bika gave Calzaghe, Bute and Ward 3 hard fights.
There are a fair number of sensible Bute fans, you kinow who you are guys so exclude yourself from what's coming up as I see some of the crazy hit squad are out and about.I'm ****in sick of this "Bute dominated Johnson while Froch struggled" Utter codswallop. For a start,GJ was Bute's sparring partner for a good while so I think the young champion has a clear advantage. This theory is total ****ing nonsense.Let me give you a comparison featuring four slightly better known fighters;Duran beats Leonard with a bit to spare,Leonard makes Duran quit,Hearns pushes Leonard very hard till Ray pulls off a stoppage,Duran pushes Hagler all the way,Hearns sparkles Duran,Hagler cuts Hearns down and TH gets carried out the ring like a baby.So by the logic stated here, surely Hagler will destroy Ray? And to use Magee as some sort of yardstick is laughable,I won't even stoop to the level of explaining why. Bute is a very competent belt holder who Froch will have a very hard night with, but why not just give tactical reasons why you think Bute will win,or make it clear you support your man and strongly believe he can do it instead of these nonsensical comparisons? And there is absolutely nothing to suggest Froch will be KO'd.**** all! This is why there is a section of Bute fans who are a laughing stock. They give the others a bad and undeserved reputation.I'm sure Bute would agree more than anyone that he needs better names on his resume,I'm not sure I/box have always had HIS best interests at heart and they might have held him back a bit.But he may well be good enough to get those names if he gets the chance, but until he does there are some who need to stop deluding themselves.Loyalty is admirable, but sometimes you'd think it was pre-teenage girls writing about a pop star.Regarding Froch,I don't blame Bute fans for feeling confident after the Ward fight, but these pitiful comparisons really need to stop, there's more holes in them than the PGA tour. They prove **** all.And people should write Froch off completely at their peril...

Come on,I just looked at your thread and it's perfectly reasonable, but do I have to get all "playground" here and say "just because you can see etc..?" There has been no evidence whatsoever to suggest Froch can be KO'd at SMW.I just posted in another thread that Bute wide on points would be an understandable prediction, even though I disagree, but to predict a KO is only fanatical loyalty to your fighter and defies logic.
Well it is possible, and if is anyone that can KO Froch, that will probably be Bute. Didn't say it's a sure thing. Say the odds of Bute beating Froch are very high.
That's a far more reasonable way of putting it,well most of it was anyway.I just cannot see how anyone can say there is a good chance of Froch being KO'd at SMW.Beaten? of course, but KO'd or stopped? No more than wishful thinking and that should be acknowledged.
